The reprogram in the Nissan with the maf code was dope! I never knew the food on could do that. I was always taught to do any reprogramming with a solid cable attached from tool to vehicle. Never even thought it could be done only using Bluetooth. 👍🏾
I want one of those "machines" the customers come in asking about. You know, the one that tells you exactly what's wrong with any problem on the vehicle. I love my TopDon bluetooth scan tool for use at the house.
I think the support is better then launch. Launch has so many models it gets really confusing which ones are USA support which are China. The quality of the product has been really good in my experience also. Personally I'd take a Topdon over launch just based on the interaction you get from them in the Facebook group alone. If you post in the group chances are they are going to comment to work through the probably or forward it to engineering to fix. What alot of people seem to forget though is the diagnostic software in the pro line scantools is the same diagnostic software in the launch so if there is a issue with the diagnostic software in a pro line Topdon it's extremely likely it's in the launch as well. So I just prefer the support where they will interact with you versus submitting a ticket and hopefully getting an email back. When I first got my Smart there was several things that I didn't like and needed to be tweaked and pretty much everything I sent in was fixed the next software update which was maybe 2 weeks later.
@@autodiagyt I got the phoenix plus. Found it strange it wouldn’t read the vin. Also pulled it up as a Toyota. It was a 07 Pontiac vibe which is basically a Toyota
I’ve used it. When I mine it was still in testing and I wasn’t allowed to show it. One day I might do a video on it because it’s pretty cool the approach they are taking with it.

It's a use at own risk feature lol
even 10% off is still expensive for the average DIY'er
