Demetori for the most part is power metal, a couple of the songs on Nada Upasana Pundarika were more progressive (a la Dream Theater or meshuggah), but it's usually straight up power. If you want a similar band, Angra has a very close style (with awesome guitarists) and a pretty good singer

+Diego M there are one man projects that count as a band :) i mean as long as nobody really knows it can be as many people as you want to. the original touhou music which demetori rearranges was also done by one guy, the same guy who made the games. it's called team alice but there's no team.
