All Gmail account has a single identifier because you are forced to use a phone number or Facebook account, which are also linked to your phone number.h
I sound ancient.. but the background music is like 2 clicks to loud 😂 it’s hard to focus on the information being given. New SS customer, so I’m going back through all your videos for more info!
Unfortunately, you do not secure the data you have very well. There is obsoletely no evidence that this, or incognito information is not sold, or handled safely. In fact my experience has been the VPN is good very good. But handling data? No way with a company associated with Nord VPN.
Hello, I am subscribed to surfshark but I realize when using UA-cam that it does not assign me the correct country. For example, I choose Peru and I see content from Panama, I choose Cipre and it shows me content from India, I choose Turkey and I see content from the UK. Please help me correct it
I don't understand how the email works. Alternative ID creates a random mailbox for me that's right? Example : I create a account on a social media, alternative ID creates a mailbox, the social media asks me to validate the process with clicking the link I got in my mailbox... AND where do I do that? In my mailbox or in mailbox created by alternative ID?
Essentially Alternative ID creates a virtual email address and then forwards any emails from it to your actual email inbox. So in your example you would need to use the email address you got from Alternative ID when creating an account for improved privacy
Would it be a good idea to change my email details of all social media accounts to the alternate ID email? Would the discrepancy of keeping my real name in the social media profile actually nullify the protection the alternative ID is giving? Can someone clarify this part?
This is awesome. Now I don't have to create 10.000 emails to keep my real email secure.
Good point

Good point about the music, Hailey! We will learn from this for our future privacy explainer videos
You don’t sound old to me, got to say I liked the music ✌🏼😊✊🏼 3:40
Awesome idea... 👍
Interesting concept - I wonder how long it will be before various websites clamp down on this!
Great idea but background music is really annoying.
Thanks for the feedback!
That seems good, but then when a web site requires your phone number or credit card info, then you have a dilemma...
There are some visa renewable cards that can act like credit cards.
Greendot cards are the best example.
Is there any difference between this and using an ordinary email alias service?

I don't know a lot about this topic but I guess from your comment than Nord VPN is not a good choice for privacy too, right ?
Gibt es das Video auch in Deutsch?

@@SurfsharkAcademy OK thank you. This is a nice feature. I use surfshark but only for VPN, I'm thinking to upgrade to surfshark one. I'll see
What is it not too understand?
Totally rubbish. I am a surf-shark user but this video is complicated and makes the audience confused.

I am curious whether this proposes any legal issues? I.e. using someone else's address for an alternative ID.
Can I use this to send an email? (no spam)
Cracking idea ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 2:39
Brillant Idea
Awesome!
