Sleep Token is a group. They're anonymous, they all wear masks when they perform, though if you want to find out who they are, you can easily discover that (just please don't talk about their identities, there are plenty of fans who don't want to know, and the band has never officially come out and confirmed their identities, so let's respect that). The lead singer goes by Vessel, and the other band members are Vessel II, III, and IV. There's a whole lore behind the band: Vessel had a dream about an ancient god named Sleep, and all of their songs are "tokens" of worship to Sleep. They really don't conform to just one genre. In the only interview that Vessel has ever given, he said, “Life is dark. Life is bright. Life is ugly. Life is beautiful. Don’t get lost in genres, they’ll only disorientate you. Music is for everyone.” Worship!

ST is actually two individuals. Vessel plays everything and post-edits. Vessel II is on drums. Everyone else is added is for shows. Vessel's genius goes back to 2011. Once you follow from the beginning -- online via his previous group - 2016 B Canopies to 2023 Sleep Token, a heartbreak-to-heart healing story is unraveled. Traverse at your own risk. Sleep Token tells whole stories.Theyve been telling a specific story since their first full length album, "Sundowning" came out in 2019.

This album (Take Me Back to Eden) was legitimately like a spiritual experience for me and for quite a few people I’ve spoken to. Their music just does something to you.
If you want the best experience, though? Go back to the beginning, listen to everything in order, end on Euclid. You will love it 💜
