I was the final caller today. Thank you Jimmy for taking on a rapid fire of 3 questions and Catholic Answers for all you do!! If I were Pope I would attach an indulgence to watching an hour of CA
Modern life is a burden, but life has always been a burden. Absolutely always. I'm sitting here in my AC, listening to this on UA-cam, and I think I have it pretty good. I am thankful to God every day for all I have, and objectively, my life is terrible also, in many ways. But I know I am very blessed. Christ have mercy.
I have a very bad spine since I was in my teens, then had 6 spinal surgeries over the years. I once asked my doctor why my spine degenerate at an early age, plus I have fibromyalgia, too. He said I was just one of those unlucky ones. I used to be depressed but I finally realized that God has a purpose for everything and everyone. I'd like to think God gave me this illness to make me strong and to have something to offer Him. I always offer Him now all my aches and pains for my loved ones, especially because I have family members who are fallen Catholics. I'm sure God wants me to feel better, but unless He gives a brand new spine, it's probably not His will. I'll continue to have pains. I have already accepted my illness, I only ask him to strengthen me, especially when I'm in a lot of pain and I offer my pains as a sacrifice for the forgiveness of my sins and my family. God is still very good to me in so many ways, I prefer to be grateful for those blessings instead. Praying for strength for those who are sick and suffering, may they see Christ in their lives. I pray for these ladies from Reformed Wellness to inspire and to bring people to God with what they do. God bless. ✝️🛐
