Good show by both of these ladies. Jade came out looking strong but AEW did a good job making Marina a credible threat to the champ. This seems like one of Jade's toughest opponents yet.
I know Jade is the upcoming star, but can we acknowledge how great Smart Mark Sterling is? They really need to let him develop his character some more as well. I think he could perfectly balance between heelish managerial mastermind and comically punchable geek. In my opinion, the guy has the potential to be AEW's version of Jimmy Hart.
The only thing that's bad about this segment they'll earwig never explained how some of the people ended up how some of the wrestlers ended up aligning with jaded came out of nowhere suddenly sitting in section just cheering her on
Holy shit! Marina Schaffir drastically improved the first time I saw her! From her selling and execution of her moves, although she needs to improve a bit more, I can't wait for the rematch!
My only complaint about the match was that Jade didn't sell the damage Marina was doing to her leg. She didn't limp once, she wasn't even unsteady at all on the injured leg. She should have fell down when she did the pump kick, and she should have struggled to lift Marina for the finish. Other than that though it was a great match. lol
Those things will come in time but seeing her in this match she's slowly improving herself. She could do with doing some indie dates against other girls that are not contractually signed with AEW. There's huge potential in her I mean just look at her she screams larger than life character just she needs to continue improving her ring skills and she'll be a megastar in the making.

What an dumb move, in terms of the structure of the story/match at that exact point. Jade's a tremendous looking, and extremely athletic woman, but she's as green as her current hairstyle. P.S. It was a great pump kick. It just made zero sense in that moment.
Jesus, Marina screaming "Solve me bitch" followed by the heel kicks to the face from Jade was vicious. Everything about this match was great, props to Jade and Marina for putting on a solid match. Everyone's talking about how Jade is improving, but lets give a little love to Marina too. She might be the a heel, but definitely improving a lot as well.
I think Marina has tons of upside!!! Her look/build alone is awesome.. just wait until she super confident in the ring!!! I think she's still making the transition and shaking the butterflies!!! One thing imo she shouldn't get stuck on is if people will like/love her or not!!! Just work on your character and in ring skills and people will respect you than the love follows!!! Def a awesome match by both ladies!!!

This. Her selling is not up there yet. Might as well not sell any move if there’s no consequence to an opponent working a limb, like in this match. That said, I do hope Bryan makes her realize this sooner than later. She’s improved in other areas though.

Jade did sell better during the thunder Rosa match and other people like Sammy does not really sell and gets up fast after a big move especially the ladder match with cody where cody was at the top of the ladder and Sammy popped right up it might be that they are not told and I remember jade saying she was told she should not sell certain moves.

I can see the improvements of Jade lately, and Danielson's training has been definitely helpful and still will be, but there is of course still work to do especially when it comes to selling (which is understandable, especially considering how Jade has been mostly involved in squash match where she breezed through her opponents). Marina also feels somewhat awkward the way she moves in the ring at times. There is potential in both women, so I am sure that if the same match took place again in 1-2 years time, it would be much better. Overall it was ok and did its job.
Jade has started convincing people that she's a star and greatly improved. Marina Shafir should now move from Dark to Rampage and have regular squash matches.
When she finally gets that pump kick down, and gets it to where it looks like she's kicking her opponent's teeth down their throat every time, it'll add SO much to her matches and her presentation.

Shafir is a BEAST and Jade realllly improved. She still does very green mannerisms like breaking up the outside 10 count for some reason but overall very much improved to really stand on her own. She dont need a manager to cover her short comings.

I really like Marina’s explosiveness in her moves and inventiveness. Jade came out looking strong as usual and put in some solid work, showing a lot of improvement. I still think Jade needs to work on her selling a little bit more, the way Marina was brutalizing her knee should have earned some long-term selling and would have made the match have more of a story, but I have faith she’ll get there, she’s clearly working hard at this.

Marina is becoming my favorite women wrestler. She’s got so much potential. The faces she makes and her tenacity feel so natural. This felt like a real fight. Great match.

What I was hoping was a brutal back and forth where The Baddies had to interfere to help get Jade the win. Jade stays undefeated but Marina get to look really strong in a loss. All we got was an extended squash match where Jade wasn’t phase in the slightest by Marina. All Marina did was leg kicks and leg locks and Jade couldn’t even sale a little bit for her. I was hoping for something more compelling.
The Baddie’s gimmick is pretty funny and adds to the presentation of Jade. Too bad the crowd was dead. Likely because it’s Heel Vs. Heel. And I disagree with the thumbnail. Her biggest test was the Ana Jay Rampage match. That was the best match they’ve both had in AEW. Run that match back. … but Jade still should win of course. ⛈

She got back up like nothing happened to her and did the finisher. If she struggled just a little bit before picking Shafir up, that would’ve been fine but they were probably running out of time and needed to go home.

Riho would be a great opponent for Jade I think

I still think Jade needs to work on her selling a little bit more, the way Marina was brutalizing her knee should have earned some long-term selling and would have made the match have more of a story, but I have faith she’ll get there, she’s clearly working hard at this.

Marina is becoming my favorite women wrestler. She’s got so much potential. The faces she makes and her tenacity feel so natural. This felt like a real fight. Great match.

What I was hoping was a brutal back and forth where The Baddies had to interfere to help get Jade the win. Jade stays undefeated but Marina get to look really strong in a loss. All we got was an extended squash match where Jade wasn’t phase in the slightest by Marina. All Marina did was leg kicks and leg locks and Jade couldn’t even sale a little bit for her. I was hoping for something more compelling.

The Baddie’s gimmick is pretty funny and adds to the presentation of Jade. Too bad the crowd was dead. Likely because it’s Heel Vs. Heel. And I disagree with the thumbnail. Her biggest test was the Ana Jay Rampage match. That was the best match they’ve both had in AEW. Run that match back. … but Jade still should win of course. ⛈
Agreed. Pretty hard for a crowd to be into it when it’s heel vs heel. Also Jade not selling the knee didn’t help. That would’ve at least won the crowd to get them to root for her during the match. Little things like that she will pick up. She is improving.

She got back up like nothing happened to her and did the finisher. If she struggled just a little bit before picking Shafir up, that would’ve been fine but they were probably running out of time and needed to go home.

We're keeping Statlander and Shida (and Willow but that's just fantasy booking) away from Jade because they are good candidates to take the title but with the baddies section we should really push this streak to the 40s maybe the 50s, maybe we can bring in KiLynn King since she was Red Velvet's tag partner, or Riho! Riho would be a great opponent for Jade I think

No sold the leg she had been working in the entire match. And then made an upcoming prospect job to her. Not a good match. And she is botching most matches in ways that could easily injure her opponents severely.
