That's an awesome set up! Going to be a honey hole for sure! That new tractor really made short work of it! Keep up the great work Colby! We all know you were the guy doing the manual labor part 🤣🤣🤣
Looking good. Turkeys should be in there in no time. Looking forward to your turkey hunting videos. Keep on keeping on and Best of luck always and thanks for sharing your videos.
Here in southeast Ohio, getting my little food plot ready. Cutting out some little trees, hoping to disc it up by mid-April, and then put in some clover by Frigid Forage. Used some Big & Beasty in last fall and didn’t turn out real well.
I still have access to that property and it did good the first and only season I kept up with it. Since then we hunted and focused on other properties that were way closer to us.
Looks like the area will draw some birds, hopefully you'll be able to sneek up without getting busted. Some might not realize clover seed is very small, & a good rain should help get soil contact. Shouldn't loose to much to birds then. Good luck.
This is awesome but unfortunately we’re too afraid to hunt our plots now bc wardens have given quite a few tickets saying we’re hunting over bait bc some of the seed doesn’t always take or get completely covered when we plow it 2-4 weeks before season start so if they find just 1 seed on the surface on digging thru the top soil it’s considered baiting and you’re DEFINITELY getting a ticket
I was wondering that too. In my state you can't be within 300yards of a food plot when you take a turkey. Hope they read their regs, hate to see them loose their tractor, guns and truck over a simple mistake. I am new to Turkey and am scared I am going to violate one of their rules.
Wow that layout is awesome and you know some Turkeys will be there because you are already seeing the signs. I just wished I could be there when you hunt it. Your hard work I a sure is going to pay off for sure I know if I lived up your way I would be often and help all you would let me I really appreciate the enthusiasm it helps the excitant grow thanks for the great video God Bless and Best of luck getting you some Turkeys this year!
Did you do any pre soil samples, lime and or fertilizer? Reason I ask is I like seeing success stories with limited soil prep. Thanks and keep up the great work.

Small easy project hopefully provides the big rewards!! Awesome vlog as always!
Good info! Can’t wait to see your hard work pay off when it’s turkey season!
I hope it does!
Thanks for showing. I’m always looking to improve my tiny plot.
I'm curious as to how this plot looks 4 years later. Do you still have access to this property and have you maintained the plot?

These type of small projects look like so much fun! Love it!
What time of year did you plant?
starts at 1:21
What is the best thing to plant for turkeys? Is it clover like you are planting or chufa?
Looks like a fun project!

I hear clover planting in the spring is bad though cause they don’t like the summer heat
That big equipment really speeds things up that would be alot of raking all those leaves lol
Cant wait to do something similar to my property.
love the mahindra! i have the 1533
the turkeys using it yet??

No didn’t do any of that. I’ll do an update video some time
That would be great, thank you @@HuntinGrounds
If you don’t have very many turkeys around why kill the few we have? Just food for thought.
