OMG! If Etsy says an address isn't verified by our Postal Service, I contact the customer before I ship anything. In convos with a client, she mentioned going on vacation to her own address...turned out, she had moved 1500 miles away! Yikes! She was impressed I had caught that, and bought more (happy, happy).
This was a fantastic video - I'm brand new to Etsy (one month in) and working on updating the policy section. The tip on the privacy section was a good one. Would it actually be possible for you to go into some more depth on that specifically? Thank you!
@@JessVanDen Which is why I ship my handmades with Priority mail plus extra insurance, as needed. We must cover our own butts, as well as the clients 😍

Very nice video. So how DO you change that you do not except returns? I can't seem to find this as I had it set to it once BUT ETSY has change it that I DO except returns!! I DO NOT! I sell personal items that are non-returnable- yuk

I agreed that it’s better to replace than refund. For me personally, it’s more cost effective. I hadn’t considered the fraud aspect-good tip!

On desktop you simply need to click on the 'edit' pencil next to your shop under 'sales channels', then scroll down to edit policies.

There's definitely a setting in your policies where you can switch off accepting returns.
The link for 40 free listings doesn't work anymore?
It will only work if you don't already have an Etsy shop.
