    Specifically:
What is being rolled out match after match isn’t working, so clearly Brian needs to change it up.
Accountability? They are being held accountable in the locker room, but not on the field or with their minutes.
I feel bad for Christian. He shouldn’t be answering questions. It really should be Adrian, Craig and Brian!
    Sounders we deserve better!
The writing is on the wall! Clean house now!

This man is not a winger. The only games we played well were with Christian in the midfield. How much more obvious can it be?

The Seattle Sounders' performance in the 2023 season showed a challenging period for the team, with fluctuating match ratings and a notable exit in the U.S. Open Cup's round of 32. Despite these hurdles, the team's history of resilience and adaptability suggests a potential for recovery and improvement. The introduction of young players into the lineup is a common strategy in sports, aiming to build a future core team, even though it may come with growing pains. Coach Brian Schmetzer's approach, focusing on player relationships and tactical flexibility, has been a hallmark of his tenure. While the shift to exclusive streaming on the Apple Network has changed how fans access games, and many are not happy with it, it reflects a broader trend in sports broadcasting. The journey ahead for Schmetzer and the Sounders is a reminder of the ever-present stakes in the world of sports, where every game is an opportunity to redefine the narrative. As for or subscription, If it were not for Lionel Messi joining Inter Miami, and the games they play we would have cancelled our subscription to Apple’s MLS Season Pass.

You guys need to work on possession and making chances out of nothing

There doesn't need to be a shake-up. We just need play better.
Be more decisive with offensive passing. Out run the opponent to win second balls. Don't fall asleep on defensive side.
It's on the players. Always had been and always will be. Soccer is predominantly an "on the field" impact game.

      Players don’t decide:
Starters, subs, minutes played, formation, style, etc….
If it was all about the players, no team would have a coach/manager
If it was all about the players, we would never had fired Sigi

@@curtischadd and how does any of that change the poor quality of the players?
The reason coaches are fired first is because it's easier for a franchise to get rid of one person than it is to overturn a roster. That's the reality.
Unless it's just a complete shit show with players literally quitting on the team (that's not happening currently here in Seattle) firing a coach isn't going to change much unless you ALSO change the talent on the team.
"no teams would have a coach" that's intentionally obtuse and stupid. Coaches are necessary but they're not ALWAYS responsible for every problem. That's the scapegoat mentality we see in the NBA all the time...Lakers. Sometimes your players are just playing shitty. It's that simple.

@@curtischadd and let me clarify I'm not anti changing coaches I'm trying to get people to understand that won't change things. It's would be a lateral move and we'd still be seeing the same issues if the players remain the same or they don't suddenly play better.

@@zachrichardson5581I have read and re-read your comments. Some I agree with some I don’t. And that’s ok.
So, here are my thoughts some you may agree with some you won’t.
4-5-1 is more of a defensive/possession formation, and that’s ok with the right squad. We don’t have that squad and like you, not sure that we have the squad for the 4-3-3, 4-4-2 diamond, and/or the 3-4-3. But Brian isn’t trying anything new. And if you keep rolling out the same shit, you are going to get the same shit.
Brian is too loyal and he has admitted to that during his interviews. By being to loyal you are coaching with emotions. Emotions are exactly why we keep getting red cards. When coaching, you need to keep your emotions in check.
      My take:
Too many players are playing out of position. And we have some over the hill. Now Brian can’t do anything about the old ones, but…
Ozzie’s heir apparent was CRoldan. He is more impactful in the midfield.
Vargus, while up and coming isn’t impactful enough. Either move him to right mid, and/or bring him in as a sub. Let’s be honest he hasn’t been the best.
The reason why I am not happy with Brian:
The stupid fouls are a lack of discipline and that is a direct result of bad coaching. It’s not on Craig. It’s not on Adrian. That’s on Brian.
Jordan is not a winger and still has no left foot. He gets easy expected goals, but unlike Raul he doesn’t create goals.
I agree with you that some things are out of Brian’s control. But, his complacency is killing us. His first sub is almost always at the 72-75 minute mark. But that’s not how soccer works. You have to adapt.
Being a sounders coach is an honor not a privilege and Brian has over stayed his time.
Btw, we replaced sigi for almost all the same reasons
