Dawson McAllister: I Am Not Immune to Heartache

In 2011 Dawson’s oldest son, Fulton, was in a horrific car accident that left him disabled and in a coma. Dawson McAllister talks about the many teens and young adults he has reached in his ministry career, but how that does not make him immune to heartache or immune to having issues in his own family. His son, Fulton, struggled with drugs and alcohol since the age of fifteen. Dawson questions the fact that his son never came to him asking about God, like the other thousands of teens that came to him searching for answers.
Throughout the video Dawson describes his relationship with his son and the times they are now spending together one-on-one praying and seeking God’s truth in the situation.
Dawson also reflects that we have days we feel we cannot go on…so we wait…and we wait…but in our darkest hour, God is there.
