i always thought use of the word "heterophonic" was a little strange, but this clears it up. homophonic is a far more common word and they changed it from an insult to a compliment. (since homophonic would be "same sounding" and heterophonic is "different sounding")

Steve was a brilliant drummer, even with such a short run in the band, the few recordings we have of him really convince me that he was just as good as Ross, maybe even a bit more so in terms of technicality. I figured he did something bad because a lot of fans seem to disregard him or outright insult him, but no, he left on his own terms and stayed close with the band. I don't really see any other reason why Steve is treated like this other than Tally Hall fans are just mean. :[
