In this video we go over the Anta Shock Wave 6:
Cushion features Anta’s best full-length Nitrogen foam setup, but because of the TPU carrier and hard caging this midsole does not feel as soft and comfortable as their KAI 1 or previous Shock Wave 5 (regular & Pro). Traction is excellent - this is a very grippy, squeaky, and durable herringbone outsole. You can safely go true to size for the best fit, and keep in mind that this shoe will require some break-in time initially. With the lacing system and upper construction, my feet felt secure and locked in nicely on the court. Thus, there was no stability or heel slippage issues. A very lightweight, versatile guard shoe that doesn’t break the bank.

I think this shoe(designed by a Chinese team)was put on a competition with the final Kai 1(designed by US team) for Kyrie. Ultimately Kyrie picked the latter one, so they put this one to the shockwave series.

Damn, that’s might true, tbh the Shock Wave 6 look impressive, but the Final Kai 1 overall performance is better, Anta teams cooking good this year 😅
Tbh I like this more on the looks side. But they should have made it more comfy specially the materials on the midsole to be softer for impact

I have the shockwave 5. Totally amazing shoe. Used move game day pro in them its totally top tier one of the best i used. 💪💪💪 hopefully those 6's will do the same.

i checked this shockwave 6 at the mall today, rubber outsole feels very durable and the ankle support, lockdown feel is awesome

Haha thank you! Appreciate you watching. I’m alright, knees sore but ankle is perfectly fine - I’ve almost never injured my ankle playing basketball lol just more or so due to playing style… I don’t have the moves 😆

Have you looked at the uncivilized 2.0 ? It's a small company that made the first minimalist style basketball shoe. Ideal for wide footers it would seem. It would be dope if you reviewed those since it's a pretty unique niche sneaker.

The Shockwave 5 Pro is one of the best hoops shoes ever IMO. Any idea when Anta will release the Shockwave 6 Pro in the US?

These are terrible for shock absorption. Please Anta add more cushioning then and only then can you compete. 3rd rate at this time.

No way. Anta just like Nike is not improving their newer releases, instead riding on the coattails of the K1s. Shockwave series is a mess. They are competing with the king Li-Ning (WOW) and the little brother 361 who in my opinion are the 2 best performance basketball shoe manufacturers in the world. They both have surpassed Nike in terms of quality playability and tech.,Anta is just a laggard. Absolutely abysmal. They are living off one shoe.
