Is there a way to do this without going on settings because on my normal acc it lets me on chrome but my school acc has a yahoo browser and the admin blocked settings
This did not work because the page you went to does not exist on my computer. I have a one month old Asus laptop with Windows 10. It was a nightmare just getting chrome installed on my computer. It appears that microsoft deliberately configures windows ten to consider all browsers other than edge as malware. Then it was a second nightmare trying to change my home page from bing to Google. Then for a while it kept changing my home page back to bing. Now it prevents me from changing from Yahoo to Google. Google needs to come up with a page you can go to where yo press a button and it permanently makes chrome your browser and Google your home page and locks out all others from changing. I've spent a very frustrating several hours with no success trying to change my home page back to chrome. According to the attorney general's office in my state, it is a felony to highjack a computer. Anyone have a phone number and legal address for Yahoo so I can include that in my police report? Yes I am fed up and I am taking legal action

I was having this issue and followed your video but couldn't find it, what worked for me was in the windows defender after doing full scan didn't find anything I then chose offline scan, this picked it up and removed it, might be helpful if anyone has the same issue as me where windows doesn't pick it up straight away but thanks to your video for pointing me in the right direction.

Thank you so much friend! I scanned with Avast, Google Chrome and Microsoft malicious software! I did not have a virus from yahoo. But for some reason the Yahoo icon would come (not direct me to yahoo but the logo would come so annyoing) Thanks again!
reset settings worked! Turns out it was my google background causing the problem because it was only compatible with yahoo. Great job chrome marketplace.

I don't understand why it keeps happening though. The scans never find anything, there's never any extensions I didn't put on. It's a mystery. Is it normal that after I follow your instructions I am signed out of everything? FB, Yahoo, etc. Small price to pay but it keeps me on my toes remembering passwords. Lol
You can also go to search engine and pick Google as your engine. Then go to manage search engines and site search and remove all other engines except Google (and maybe Bing!)
omg thanks soo much it worked!! i opened my browser in the morning and i noticed the yahoo logo, my chrome wallaper didnt show up and a few more things were missing! thanks soo much again! u deserve like millions of subs
