- Here is the most detailed mileage test video of the Honda Elevate Petrol manual and for this mileage test, I traveled from Delhi to Jaisalmer and back with 4 passengers with luggage i.e full Load mileage test

Fantastic video.
Recently I also did a trip of 1652km on Honda City eHEV.
Nagpur - Shirdi - Pune - Shrigonda - Shirdi - Nagpur.
Out of that 1652 km, 1100km journey was completely on cruise control with set speed of 100 kmph as I was travelling through Samruddhi Highway. It's like you are travelling on Airstrip completely straight and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) is a pure bliss. Did off-road travel of about 35 to 40km in Shrigonda to reach friends farmhouse. Got the mileage of 22.5kmpl.
It was fantastic experience.
Honda Engine is very reliable.
Do you think the huge premium that you paid for the hybrid was worth it? After how many years do you think you will the higher mileage start giving you savings?

Gaurav - you are doing a good work with this long distance mileage test..very useful. Thanks! 16kmpl mileage for Honda Elevate is less when compared to that of Grand Vitara MT Mild hybrid. I received 18.8kmpl actual, (MID: 21.8kmpl) on 850km drive, overall ride n comfort on such long trip is something which is not great in GV, may be Honda is better is this area.

Honda has a far better engine.... Better boot capability & interior material like plastic is also better in Honda...

Last week I drove from Bangalore to Chennai on my Honda Elevate Zx CVT and I reset the trip to 0 before starting and I got the mileage of 19kmpl. While returning I got mileage of 18kmpl. I drove mostly on highways and AC was always on.

Honda is underrated when it comes to mileage.
I went from my hometown to Jaipur and returned,which makes it around 440 kms journey in Honda City.MID showed me the mileage of 23,and when i calculated it,it came almost 23.
I'm a light footed driver,avg speed was 80.
Hi. I have CITY V 2017 , it's 5 gear manual , I get 19-21 kms per litre on highways ( 90 % highways & 10 % city ) at speed 80-90 mark & I get 18 kms per liter on Expressways as speed is more there around 100 kmph.
Only service , tyre change and wearables no part changed . Done 105000 kms till now.

Good enough i'd say for fully packed car. May be 15kmpl in heavy summers with AC.
Virtus/Kushaq returned 18kmpl on chd-jaipur highway in Jan 2024 without AC and 4 adults

Nice trip and beautifully depicted. Elevate is a nice family SUV. A striking balance of comfort, driveability, handling, performance, safety, features, stance and premiumness.This is what a Honda is known for. It meets all essential checklist items. Mileage is okay. Actually good for a medium sized, well built SUV.
Saying this after using it for more than 4 months of ownership.
Those who are interested to know cabin noise, i would say please do not worry too much about this. It is comfortablly alright. Too much unnecessary concerns by reviewers. With time, my engine is becoming smoother. Tyre noise does come in but it is not so much of an issue. After the OEMs tyres wear out and if it really was an issue for you, switch to lesser noise tyres like the ones from Michelin.

@@AnurupRoy Well I doubt that... I had gone through the brochure and the vx doesn't even have a cruise control... The only difference from v is that it has a sunroof and a rear wiper... And paying that much for those two features seems like an overkill.. Honda could give much more to this car they are holding back on purpose... See the city V... It comes with ADAS

Honda's are for those who like to keep the car for a long time and work on their own cars. Very old and reliable engine designs.
Which one is more comfortable and nice to ride? Maruti XL6 or this Honda Elevate. Please reply will book in comming days. 15 lakhs budget. Note: Seat capacity doesnot matter neither model.

Nice mileage test but I am a bit disappointed with the mileage figures. My Taigun 1.0 gives more mileage under same conditions. I am sure it would have returned more than 18 kmpl tank to tank if not 20 kmpl on this drive. I would request you to do a similar kind of test with any of the VW/ Skoda 2.0 cars and see their mileage.

Same trip on 1.8 cc octavia petrol automatic with mileage of 16 km/ltr with half time ac on, speed almost between 90-120, then what is the use buying manual transmission when automatic gives you better mileage..

Good Vlog Gaurav... In my opinion not a Value for Money Car .. Honda will soon be out of biz. in India if it doesnt grow with competition and growing needs of Indian Customer.
What they are not doing, they offered the cheapest adas in honda city. They have the best engine race it with any 1.5na engine. They are offering the real suv with huge size and biggest ground clearance which make it a real suv. You guys are looking for gimic features which tin cars can offer

No no it will grow, do one thing drive it light foot as much as possible. Dont press hard
My creta with 5 people luggage and Ac on the whole time with 1.5 N.A Engine delivered 18.7kmpl in total of 1k kms run..
