Mortifying our passions and lusts, and letting the spirit of God lead us: this is part of regeneration. Enlivening us, invigorating us. Giving us hope, life, love, meaning and purpose. To die to self is to live ultimately. So paradoxical yet true. And even so: his yoke is easy his burden is light! And we find rest for our souls. Amazing how all this works together lol. But it surely does.
