So glad there's an official version of this up now. I had this Hendrix tribute album back in like 1999/2000 and this track was always my favorite. The whole album was awesome though, for anyone who hasn't heard it - Slash, Jeff Beck, bunch of other legends on it.

There are some AMAZING performances on this CD. Stone Free - Clapton. Manic Depression - Jeff Beck / Seal. I Don't Live Today - Slash / Paul Roger's. Axis Bold As Love - Pretenders. Are You Experienced - Belly. Hey Baby (M.A.C.C. - Mike MacReady, Jeff Ament, Chris Cornell, Matt Cameron). Easily one of the best albums I own.
