Will say to any who purchase them, don't remove the outside magnet tabs to "glue" the magnet into place. Holds well enough without and you may want the flexibility later.
These pump are amazing. I just put 2 of the XF350 on my 5 ft tank. Even running at 20% is kicking up sand, I'm considering downgrading to the XF330. But yes, they are super quite and move some serious volume.
First time.i have owned any maxspect gyres...now they are not silent. The box states they arnt. Maybe they are quieter than the older ones but I wouldnt say they are the quietest option. I love them none the less. I run at 50% on both xf330.
What would depend on dimensions of tank. If it’s a tank more than 3’ the for sure gyre because the way it moves Water. The new generation can be run so close to water line it’s virtually not seen. I really love the flow they produce
Do you still like the pump? Im a little apprehensive. I had the first generation and the fins broke on the second day. It purchased through coral view and they were not covered under warranty. The flow does look amazing. How many other wave makers are you using?
You should talk to Carlos, he's the guy that does their videos. I had a bad motor and replaced it,no questions asked. Make sure you you register your product. Carlos contacted me personally about the motor block. It's a great pump.
@@greetingsearthlingspluto6666 how did you relies there was something wrong? I bought the 330 hooked everything up set the controler and nothing is happening.
The description on how if you didn’t like the first two versions of the pump reminded me of Monty Python The beta version of the Maxspect Gyre sank into the sandbed and died The first gen Maxspect Gyre sank into the sandbed and died The second gen caught fire, knocked over my live rock, sank into the sandbed and died But the third gen! The third gen stayed up! ;)

hai, what do you think about maxspect gyre 2k .. ? btw, do you still use that maxspect without any issue ?
In their defense it is much like Ecotechs reeflink, also optional.

Nice flow pump but to much for the tank you will probably only run at 10% the hole time
Ya 10-20 lol
@@eatsleepreef9565 Jesus Christ your tank is freaking beautiful.
