  • Today was my final day to do my morning walks on the Toronto Beaches because at noon, we had to go to the airport because today we flew back to Halifax. This was one of my best walking places ever in Toronto as well as Kingston Road. I definitely enjoyed the week here exploring all of this area. I wasn’t ready to go back to Halifax when I knew that the time was coming, it felt like we were there for 4 days when it was actually 6 days. This beaches mostly kept on following Lake Shore Boulevard East as well when we reached Woodbine Beach, there was a bakery & cafe just off of Northern Dancer Boulevard. But don’t worry I will be back again there someday.
If you want to walk on the beaches, but you wanted ti avoid the sandy part, walk down Silver Birch Avenue, 15 minutes to your south on Kingston Road, & then you’re right on the boardwalk.
Every morning while I was here, I would always start my day with 2-2.5 hours of walking, which is around 10-12.5 kilometres. We had the best weather ever that on somedays it went up to 22°C
You would see a lot of people doing their morning runs, walking their pets, people will also cycle & rollerblade on the pavement that was next to the beach.
You can literally see where downtown Toronto is from here, & it doesn’t feel like yours too far away from it, but if you were to take the Queen Street TTC Streetcar, it will take you a while depending on how bad traffic is, especially on the rush hour. You got an awesome view of the CN Tower
Stay tuned because there is a part 2 of this video, which covers the rest of this boardwalk
