The sound of this album is quite incredible. It really brings back a lot of the dark, almost hopeless sounding rhythms of 90's/00's alt metal. Absolutely in love.
Delusional: take a notice of how the (real world) sounds are serene, HD and realistic. while if you listen closely a lot of the more 'harsher' sounds (the drums, guitars, a lot of the more 'agressive' parts) sound... i wanna say... like they were played out of a cheap 2000's speaker? I think this is intentional. "The serenity & realistic sounds are real life being real. the (faster) BPM, the drums and the 'agressive' sounds are 'being played in your mind' / 'from your headphones' (?) You're delusional." Or maybe I am delusional. :shrug:

Yeah, that's my favorite track. Dark and aggressive but still vibrant.
Im not a big fan how loud the distorted guitar is in delusional

I wish I found maidcore earlier, some absolute good stuff that sounds similar to the nostalgic nu-metal I listened to as a middle schooler lol.
