Yes, absolutely! haha....I wasn't suppose to pick it up that day but the weekend.......SIGH, I must confess- I left office early so I can pick it up! Guilty!
That’s the power of vibration healing. The frequencies of the notes resonate within the each of us. To me, that’s the healing power. Balancing of the yin and yang. Alignment of the chakras. Have a blessed day.
The G Pygmy is my fav when it comes down to deep meditation. The G is the Throat Chakra.....great for opening our inner souls. This particular chakra allows us to communicate within OURselves. Our deeper selves. Have a blessed day.
@@maxandchloemeditation I agree.I use it to open and close all my yoga classes...It also sounds really grand with my G Native America Style Flutes too...Thank you again...
Very interesting. How does this compare to a Rav Vast? To my ear, I can’t hear much of a difference, and other than the tongue shape, it looks pretty much identical to the older model. Would love to see a comparison video. Not that I can afford another drum, lol!
I will make an in-depth video soon. Maybe a comparison video as I have an Art Quint in G pygmy. So far, consistency bwtn the sounds and notes- to me, are the icing on top of this Frog Drum.Have a blessed day, my friend.
I love Rav Vast with rubber rim for my meditation class, but I struggle to find them. Do you think Frug Drum can replace it? Does it have the same/similar resonance and sustain? I play it with mallets get the best out of it and the vibration that people get when I play rubber rim Rav Vast is always stunning ✨ thank you 🙏🏻
Hi! Yes! The Frog Drum is the closest to the Rav rubber rim. Have you played the new brass rim Rav? The resonance are excellent! I guess all depends on the scale as well. Lower scale has deeper and longer sustain.I use my drums as part of healing as well.- Vibration Healing.
GM! definitely! Am glad that- we have so many options these days. You may want to look into Pulsar as well. OPTIONS....OPTIONS....OPTIONS! Have a blessed day!
Heeeeyyyyaaaa Randy! Thats the BIG question! Hahaha...Honestly, I dont like to "compare" as each has their own tonality and characters.Ravs has excellent harmonics which many prefers. The Frog Drum....to my surprised- as I am still exploring the drum- has superb(so far) control of sounds. All the notes are very contained- which may sound like u said "MUTED" compared to Rav. Which do I like better? I have yet to test out the Frog Drum in a sound healing session......but so far as for me- I am liking the "controlled sound projection"(will be in my next video). I do find the "muted" sounds a lot soothing to the listeners. I find it a bit warmer(hence my comparison- analog VS digital synth). In the end, it's subjective. But this very moment- YES, I am gravitating to the Frog drums sounds. have a blessed day, my friend.
hellooooo! and good morning from the Pennsylvania USA! you can find the frog drum--- www.inspireuplift.com/G-Pygmy-Scale-Rav-Vast-RAV2-21-RAV-Vast/iu/8715?variant=75589&srsltid=AfAwrE7WWllKmxHpwc4pZaozqp8WWlaoSsOxRjjMndFONh5iwlDabkk3OPY
Awesome friend! Ive been waiting for this video!! Haha the styrofoam in your hair!! I want to have an E pygmy.. i think i will have to sell my B kurd or win big on the slots with my bf's money lol but I have to have one!! FROG DRUMS!!
batman...this is Robin....hahahaha well, the Frogdrum has harmonics but more contained harmonic. For some players, they want to "control" their own harmonics- like an accent. For recording- the FD is easier to record- as their sounds or tones are consistent The sounds of FD are not as temperamental as the RAV- then again some like the randomness of accented harmonics. For the widest harmonics- I suggest the ArtQuint. Then again, some find the AQ slightly harder to play. Because the construction of the AQ is very similar to the Handpan. the circle acted as the tone field and the cut tongues set the pitch(s). As Handpan, sometimes you have to "find the sweet spot" within the circle. So going back....the FROG will be an excellent first instrument - or first of the many drums in your journey. The consistency , the tonality of the FROG may laid the first step. have a blessed day, Batman!
Cool, you must be stoked! Really smooth sounding drum, very inspirational to go and improv

That sounds amazing. The tones are so rich, and I felt it in my core.

hahaha I just noticed that AFTER I posted the video! Yes....the cool and evil styrofoam!
Hey, how are the harmonics on this drum? I love the sound overall, but is it possible to produce harmonics like on a rav?
