- Just demonstrating my exhaust on my Beretta, it's a 1994 base model with the 3100 V6 and 4T60E transmission. Full 2.5" exhaust, no cat no resonator, 3A style straight-through race muffler with dual 3" tips, custom fit CAI (cold air intake) with Spectre round air cleaner. Stock downpipe.
Modifications/upgrades during the time of video include the above mentioned exhaust and intake, Bosch Plat+4 plugs, Bosch premium wires, Goodyear Gatorback belt, Gabriel Ultra shocks and struts, ES poly sway bar links, Bridgestone Potenza's on 17" Eagle Alloys, and Morse ceramic pads up front.
what kind of motor oil and filters you use? The car looks good and sounds nice. I'm a firm believer in if you take good care of your car it will take good care of you no matter what type of car you drive or how old.
I wouldn't go so far as saying I've "tricked out" a Beretta. And to answer your question, for the same reasons anybody else works on their own cars. Besides, I love my car, and it's worth the time and money that I put into it.
sounds good but i woulda left the cat one. or i did on mine anyway cuz it dropped me 14 mpg until i put it back on
kackle kackle, sounds good at idle.
sounds nice! I love the body style of the beretta. how many mpgs do u get with the exuast added vs. w/o?
Unfortunately she's an auto, somewhere down the road I'll convert it over to a stick.
Beretta isn't a ricer. The 3.1 V6 is a fast bitch as well. Used to race a Pontiac Sunbird convertible down the 1/4 mile, and it was the same thing. Flowmaster exhaust is the best for them, though.
@DragonTreasures
yea, these cars will tear up the older fox body Mustangs (as long as they're stock) pretty well! i still need to run some people with the built 3400 i have in it now.
i got the same wheels on my retta. =D
Nice car other than rims looks identical to my 94 I bought new. I had a 94 M eng code modded to 217 hp at the frnt wheels oh how I loved to pick on 5.0 stangs bk then but she died a horrible death trying to be a balarina (3 end overs and 4 barrel rolls). Her heart still lives on in my fiero though and she still likes to play w the stangs even after 189,000 very hard miles now.
i had a white 1993 gt with a 3.1 5- speed and added same rims and flowmaster super 40 single with 3 in pipe. souded great. didnt really do anything fuel wise. put k&n filter kit. my problem was i couldnt get parts for it from the dealer. nor when it went for service they couldnt fix it. only had 48 k when i readed it in back in 2002
I own a a berreta, same year as yours actually. I love it, but I wouldn't go as far as customizing it. I put a CD player in thats as far as I'll ever go with that peice of shit
It's just a straight through fiberglass packed muffler. Sadly enough, it's an ebay muffler. Just type in "dual tip muffler" and you should be able to pull quite a few up. Won't cost more than $40 after shipping.
If you want more growl, remove the resonator too if you have one. Keep in mind I have no converter and no resonator on my car.
Now if you want a really good quality muffler go Magnaflow, Borla, or Flowmaster (Super 44 recommended).
The newest video is up under video responses. Fillers are black once again, picked up a mint set for $20, the white ones finally cracked. Wheels have been changed to Enkei's, and a GTU kit has also been installed along with lowering the car 2".
Muffler has been replaced with a Flowmaster Super44 paired with a Hooker resonated tip.

I went for a year without one, that's as far as I could make it, lol. I do have two never videos up, did a cammed 3400 swap with custom headers. I have an open headers video, and one with the newer Magnaflow exhaust. They're not the best videos, but worth the watch if you enjoyed this one!
More expensive than I can afford at this point in time, lol. Being a broke college student can make things take a little longer than we want them to. This video is a little out-dated as well, I have a few newer ones on my page as well.
Actually 1993 was the last year for the 3.1, in 1994 it was replaced with the updated and slightly more powerful 3100. The Buicks and the Chevys had the same motors, both were updated to the 3100's in 1994 (as they are both GM's).

I feel your pain man. My driver's side subframe rotted out and I'm more than likely going to have to order one from the internet, as the cars are becoming scarce in my area now too.
Eh, it didn't really change any. Well, nothing noticable at least. My biggest concern was getting a less constrictive exhaust and a good sound.
I'm currently running Castrol Syntec with a K&N oil filter, but I'll be switching to Royal Purple after the next change.
i have have 95 chevy beretta and i put one of thoes muffler it sound good
Not too hateful... upper 20's highway, I average low 20's in it.
@MurphSexy86 HAHAHHAHA WHAT A WASTE OF ROYAL PURPLE
My 94 lumina sounds like that with my flow master gonna have to put a video up with it....ppl always want to race when they pull up its crazy
THE GROOVE Do it!
I'll put one up here in few days
RICER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Pat are you on the W-body forum?
why would you "trick" out a berreta?
That thing sounds BEASTLY!!! Great vid man.
is yours a manual transmission?
how many mpgs does it get?
how expensive is that yo?
why didn't u follow him ....I thought u would walk to the end so we could watch him leave.
No idea, wish he would have haha.
agrred with 100 %
What muffler is that?
That's my old eBay special universal dual tip muffler, essentially an off brand Magnaflow, lol.
Those always sounded so good 😊
It's been upgraded quite a bit since then if you see my more recent videos!
@@MurphRocks86 sure will ☺️ glad you still have her 👍🏾 beautiful car
Like the color matched mid section looks slick
I'm on 60degreeV6, but that's about it. I very rarely hit the forums anymore though... The car has taken a wild leap from where it is now too, I do have a few videos up on here as well that show the car's progress since this video was taken if you're interested in viewing as well.
@210texas210pimp
Cheapest and easiest mods would be an intake, full 2.5" exhaust, and a good premium tune up. Doesn't hurt to run synthetic motor oil either.
Haven't head that sound in awhile, my friend had one with exhaust back in the day sounded just like that. Actually sounds sort of good for a 6cyl.
The tail lights look great with the center section painted.
Tim Alexander thanks man! I ended up cracking one of them many years ago, and went back to the factory black ones.
The wheels were 17's actually!
