I think he could play like he did in 1985 but he insists on cramming as many notes into smaller and smaller musical space. He sounded better when he didn't always try to play silly speeds. Hiroshima in '85 was stunning but here it was just frustrating to hear that. I also want the old tone back. I don't know if it is the new PUs or he is favoring distortion over the more beautiful overdrive sound.
Despite his personality, I have to say since listening to Yngwie back in the early 80s, he was the originator of the neo classical guitar playing, he started it all off. The guys a legend to be still doing it 40 years later...

what is wrong with his personality?! Do you know him personally that you come on to UA-cam and make such comments? lol!!! Or are you a typical dip dip that likes to spread rumors but you have never met him in your life.
Ritchie Blackmore and Uli are not neoclassical. Yngwie had some influences of both but his sound and music is very different. And by the way, Ritchie and Uli are not as virtuosos as Yngwie. With 19-20 years he created one of the best instrumental albums of all time, and I don’t think Ritchie or Uli are able to play his songs

Gee ya think 🤔
I think he could play like he did in 1985 but he insists on cramming as many notes into smaller and smaller musical space. He sounded better when he didn't always try to play silly speeds. Hiroshima in '85 was stunning but here it was just frustrating to hear that.
I also want the old tone back. I don't know if it is the new PUs or he is favoring distortion over the more beautiful overdrive sound.
Incroyable live!!!!!❤

amazing job, not lost it guys !!!!!!
He is a LEGEND! Love this man.
The Master of the Wall...of Marshall Stacks!
only two are plugged
Would've been SO COOL if he opened with "Too Young To Die, Too Drunk To Live"
lol 🤣🔥🎸
He probably can't even play it anymore..
Despite his personality, I have to say since listening to Yngwie back in the early 80s, he was the originator of the neo classical guitar playing, he started it all off. The guys a legend to be still doing it 40 years later...
thx for your comment. Agree and it is just amazing! He is overdriving his own life. If you like the video appreciate hit the subscribe and like for support. I hope you enjoy my channel. Thank you. 🎸🔥🙏
what is wrong with his personality?! Do you know him personally that you come on to UA-cam and make such comments? lol!!! Or are you a typical dip dip that likes to spread rumors but you have never met him in your life.
Richie Blackmore and Uli Jon Roth say hello
Ritchie Blackmore and Uli are not neoclassical.
Yngwie had some influences of both but his sound and music is very different.
And by the way, Ritchie and Uli are not as virtuosos as Yngwie.
With 19-20 years he created one of the best instrumental albums of all time, and I don’t think Ritchie or Uli are able to play his songs
Hlo saya dari Indonesia saya suka video saya fans Yngwie.
Maestro!!! Yngwie seems to be quite fit, i´m glad he´s playing as good as always! Viva Malmsteen!

Malmsteen the Legend!!
The Greatest Guitar player who ever walked the Earth!
イングヴェイさん、デビュー40周年おめでとうございます。日本で、デビューを飾るのは、すごく素晴らしいかったでしょう。最高だね。輝いてるね。
Going to see him in Austin next month. What I would do to go back to 1981-89.
Man its crazy to see my boy playing the drums for fucking Yngwie
We were in bands together in fucking highschool!!
イングヴェイさんの音楽、音色が綺麗だし、聞きやすいメロディアスだし。

Yngwie has become one of absolute favorite guitarists. I love his musical prowess but I love his personality too. I'd have to say that Yngwie, Dave Mustaine & Zakk Wylde are definitely my top three favorite guitar players. I saw a video of Zakk & Yngwie playing together, that was super awesome!❤
@@lisaanderson3256 Thanks for your comment! I think Zakk played with Yngwie at Grneration axe that is with Nuno and Steve Vai and Anasi too. If you like the video appetite the subscribe and like for support. I hope you enjoy my other videos especially my original guitar tunes too!

Imagine how much $$$ to haul all those Marshalls to Japan, through customs….but Yngwie has pull in Japan…he’s been Their Guitar God for decades…
Thanks for your comment! Yeah he has true fans in Japan! They are loyal. 🔥🙏🎸❤️
Good quality, thanks! Hiroshima Mon Amour, nice to hear that again. You missed 11. Seventh Sign in the position bar!

Thank you for your message! Yngwie is the KING! 🤟🤟🤟
Yngwie has the most beautiful vibrato of all shredders. IF he only knew how to slow down from time to time - like the Black Star solo - his songwriting would shine even more.
@@ItsNotaTuhmah Thx for your comment! Maybe he can but he just doesn’t lol If you like the video appreciate hit the subscribe and like! Thanks! 🔥🎸🙏
Would have been great to see Jeff Scott Soto, the Johansson's, and stellar bass player to fill in for Marcel Jacob.
Tem acompanhado o Yngwie on-line e em shows pelo Brasil ele realmente tem um diferencial dos Músicos, quem conhece não volta a ser um q1
凄いなぁ、昔と何も変わらない!

the only way I can explain to myself why Yngwie puts up with a Bassplayer who looks like that: is that he's not costing him much.

As he's aged, he's really refined his right hand technique - barely moves at all and still plays like this. Economy of motion like you'll never see from anyone. Parabellum is a great example from this video.
Thx for your comment! He did mentioned at the interview he can play better than 20 years ago. So he is still evolving and that is amazing.
