Yes, in the detailed description on our website, it's documented that the A/C, and the side marker lights were dealer-installed at the original owner's request. Receipts documenting that were included with the sale. That A/C compressor is actually a Chrysler unit that was commonly used in dealer-installations such as this one back in the day.
@@GuysWithRides1 Not a Chrysler compressor. Those York compressors were used on Ford and Ramblers, among others, but never on a MOPAR. No chance that underdash unit is old, either. In the day when that car was new, the underdash unit was all in one, no side extended vents. All in the center part - and they were chunkier and constructed of metal, not plastic. The A/C appears to be INOP, as well, at least it has no belt. The aluminum side spear is soooo wrong and the sidelights are a huge detraction, as is the pinstriping. All that said, if one was inclined to return this GP to its original state, they'd have a great start. Looks to be in great physical condition!
If you go to the car’s full description, that was the compressor typically used for dealer-installed a/c systems of the period. No harm, no foul in our book as that’s what the original has installed when the car was brand new.
The car was not recorded with a fish-eye lens. This video was originally created for the auction we held on it, not as artistic content. I used a GoPro Hero 7 set to wide-angle. In that mode, the camera balances showing the perspective and the quality of the original paint versus standing forty feet away from the car to shoot with a normal lens.
@@MichaelBedell-f8r Hey, UA-cam Troll, I have a better idea: How about you learn the proper spelling of "lens" and post content on your channel before posting negative comments on someone else's? The positive comments I've received far outweigh your negative ones.
Unbelievable … not just a car, but a work of art in pristine condition.
Memories…. Nothing beats the smell of the interior of an automobile from the 60’s…. Beautiful car!
Beautiful work 😊
What a sexy looking car pure perfection
BRAVO! Spectacular choice of music!.....perhaps better than Dusty Springfield's rendition. THANK YOU!
In my opinion 1965 Pontiacs across the board were awesome beautiful brutes 😄
Beautiful!!! I also have one.
The A/C was not factory . Possibly a dealer addition . Lovely car though . I have the 65 Parisienne 2+2 coupe . Prettiest American car of the 1960s .

Don't like the marker lights or the Beltline trim that was added on

That fisheye Lenz ruins the lines on the car.

I guess I like the lines on the car more than you do.
