- Im so glad there is a character like Libby. Not only is she sweet, adorable, smart, and funny but she goes through the same thing I go through, Anxiety. At the moment, im suffering from so many panic/anxiety attacks and not being able to actually speak to people. Libby is the perfect example of me and many to others as well! I honestly love her character and when she's around her friends you really get to see the true side of her which I love! Anyways enjoy this video of her Libby :3

4. She reminds me of Marcy from Amphibia (still miss that show '^')
I feel like we can all relate to Libby in some weird way, I miss amphibia too

@@therealslimshawty1854 As an extrovert who tends to have introverts as close friends, I loved the scene where Libby opened up to Molly and straight up told her it's not what she wanted, but what Molly wanted. We need more introvert characters that embrace themselves for who they are rather than suddenly "opening up" by becoming very social. That's usually not how it works.

i have a BIG story oops. if any of you are triggered by anxiety or mental health issues, please don't read this!
i have anxiety as well. i have been going through it ever since i was a little girl. even as a little kid, i would be too scared to ride bikes or climb trees because i was too afraid of getting hurt. i also had selective mutism, causing me to be completely silent around strangers. it's kinda interesting though, because around the people i was closest to, i i was this silly kid and was generally so happy. i mean, apparently i was even known for how happy i was as a kid. i remember being super insecure in my own mind, though.. i would look at pictures of myself and just think "wow, i'm so ugly. i wish i looked like her" but anyways, yeah, as a kid i had selective mutism and was extra cautious about my own safety. i had such a difficult time making friends and would spend many recesses alone
then came along grade 7, when i was 12 years old. i didn't know what it was at the time, but i would fear people judging me all the time. it made me so sad and made me more insecure about myself. i just assumed people were judging me in their heads because of how i looked, sounded, etc.
grade 8 was similar, but at that time, i was even too afraid to stand up and put something in the garbage. or afraid to get up to get a textbook a few minutes later than everyone else, so people wouldn't judge me for not getting it right away
in grade 9, my ocd was awful. i continuously worried about other people's safety. it was starting to take over my life. it became so bad that i had to be hospitalized for 3 weeks. i remember crying so much when i got there. i just wanted to go home.. there, i got diagnosed with ocd, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, and childhood selective mutism. after those long 3 weeks were over, i was so happy to come home :) then, later in grade 9, my social anxiety started to show A LOT. it was becoming so unbearable. in gym class, i continuously worried that whatever i would do, people would judge me. i was worried about doing the wrong thing and embarrassing myself. it became so awful and i felt so bad. i felt like i was always making a fool out of myself. i was so cautious and didn't trust myself with anything. even though i was worried about getting things wrong, it made me actually do things wrong because of my overthinking. this made me even more anxious, almost as if i was trapped. idk, anxiety is scary sometimes.. it also didn't help that i got bullied a lot in my life
then in grade 10, i would worry about so many things at that time as well. i also had very depressing thoughts that i won't name. my confidence was so low and i couldn't make any friends. i sat alone most lunches.
grade 11 was also similar, but i was starting to learn how to accept myself and my flaws. however, i still feared of messing things up. i was also scared to talk to people who genuinely liked me, like that one girl who sat beside me in psychology class. she would talk to me and i would just worry about what i would say that would make her hate me. also, not to mention that i literally could barely speak in groups because i didn't want people judging my thoughts. i also worried heavily about being a bad person
then came grade 12, the weirdest year? you know, pandemic for half the year. this was only last year. but my anxiety was so bad that i wanted to do homeschooling. i would sit alone and would worry so much about being a bad person or doing something wrong
nowww i am 18, a year or so before i go to college. my social anxiety is still super bad, but so is my generalized anxiety. i continuously worry if i'm a bad person. i never feel relaxed, which is kinda sad. i always feel stressed, even when i'm dreaming. my ocd still bothers me, but it's not as bad as it used to be. this is because i've been to therapy because of it and i take meds. oh, i forgot to mention that i get therapy for anxiety and take meds for it as well!
i just want to know what life is like without anxiety. you know? but i'm just going to have to keep fighting, even if i sometimes feel super fed up with it all. but it'll all be okay :)
@@karsenloveskartoons This is actually sums up what im going thru. I think my anxiety started after my Aunt had died. K-2 I was always so confident but then 3rd grade the year my aunt died everything just turned around for me. She was everything to me and who I wanted to be. Since my school was a k-8 school I basically knew every one bc we grew up with each other so ofc ppl knew me as the shy one. I think my 7th and 8th grade year was honestly same as yours. Also thanks for sharing your story with Anxiety

Having a conversation with someone who has anxiety honestly made me feel a better. And also thanks it rlly was. I still think abt her and wishing she was next to me. OH MY GOD I JUST REALIZED WHERE I RECOGNIZED LIBBY’S VOICE FROM. HER VA VOICED CLIFFORD IN CLIFFORD’S PUPPY DAYS I ADORED THAT SHOW WHEN I WAS LITTLE! Lara Jill Miller’s voice is just so friendly, expressive, and adorable. It fits both characters perfectly. Maybe it’s nostalgia about the voice talking, but I have now become instantly attached to Libby even though I know almost nothing about her character.
I knew her first as Kari from Digimon.
And I recently found out that she voiced Allie in Curious George 😂
