Any of those Seikos can be regulated by yourself with a light tap of the regulation lever. I have a 14 year old NH35 movement that is within a second a day, never been serviced. Was off 10 sec until that quick adjustment.
I completely agree it can be just as enjoyable choosing, buying and wearing an inexpensive watch. No need to feel guilty, no fear of being robbed, OK they (usually) won't increase in value, but that isn't an issue when they cost pocket money in the first place.
got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on amzwatch 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.
I have to say I have & have had Omega, Rolex, Breitling, Tag Hauer & Longines but the watches I have worn the most thought the years are Hamilton, Victronics Swiss Army, Itself and so on.
A go to for Summer is my Seiko 5 Sports GMT ‘Mikan Orange’ (SKX Re-Interpretation) SSK005K1. A great, comfortable Watch that is also great to wear because it was a gift from a dear friend I’ve met through the UA-cam Watch Community. Not only a great Watch but, good memories to go with it! ✊
Great choices! I have two Hamiltons that I adore as well as a similar Seiko that I picked up in Hong Kong in the mid-80s. All watches still working great.
My under thousand beater watches I enjoy wearing are Certina DS Diver, Tissot PRX ( by the way, both have Powermatic 80 and runs perfectly) , SKX, Citizen Promaster Eco Drive, Casio F91W.
*Paused @**2:43* I still rock my SKX on the Oyster aftermarket bracelet ...AND I have big wrists, so my SKX doesn't get as much love in the summer as it should lol.
Picked up a MaMaCoo 's watch as my first watch last month and I’m absolutely in love with it. Perfect size, looks elegant, very comfortable. Now my only problem is holding off from buying more watches so quickly!
Been watching your videos for a while now and was inspired to start a collection. Started with the amzwatch, its specs for price and clean looks, now am looking for a dress watch to add.
My favorites in the $300 to $700 range: Citizen Tsuyosa Bulova moon watch (43mm) Hamilton Khaki Field That Jorg Gray watch that Obama wore all the time, it was a chrono with the black dial with white stitching
OMG, I went 3 out of 4. I even use my 5610 exactly the same way as the reference piece for my other watches because of its insane accuracy. However, I don't have a PRX, instead I have a Tissot Gentleman, which I think is a better made and more versatile watch. I would add one more, though, the Casio Royale, which I think is the most perfect travel watch ever.
I own one in that price area, the Marlow Coniston for $425. Marlow is a micro British brand that is just great and looks like a much more expensive brand. I bought it on a lark, and was surprised how much I would like it. Smart comment that you keep the $ watches in a vault at work.
In large part we are the same. I wear the same G-shock and set all of my watches by it. My daily wear is split between a PRX Chrono and a higher polish Hamilton Khaki on a bracelet.
What shocked me the most? Birth year was 1989....me 1957....i was 32 when he was a sparkle in dads eyes...my first rolex sub is from 76....i feel old hell i am old. Enjoy youth it goes by fashter than you think.....one day your over 60 and think what the hell happened.
I scored 1/4 with two "sortas" - your exact PRX, plus a Hamilton Khaki King auto and a 2100 G-Shock. Love them all, and the busier I get the more I appreciate the 'no-brainer' options in my box.
4/4 (Sort of my PRX is the quartz version which is now on the leather strap) Even wearing my Hamilton Green Khaki Mechanical Officers watch as well today!
When it comes to watches under 500$ ? HGP watches have my attention. It's awesome to have Brevet signed Monnin cases again and not a look alike like CWC and having Georges Monnin''s initials under the lugs is great detail
I have some inexpensive watches that I just love wearing. A while back you did a video about affordable dress watches and you suggested several nice vintage brands that were good choices. After that video I found a great gold vintage Hamilton "Eric " for a good deal. It looks as good as anything new I was considering.
My watch was purchased 2 years ago from amzwatch and, to this day, it still looks and runs as well as it did the day it arrived. That movement has never missed a beat despite never having been serviced. I can't complain about that.
For an affordable everyday watch I have to go with the victorinox inox quartz. Very accurate, I love the way it looks, and it’s super tough, which is nice cause I’m always fixing something in the house or one of my cheapo cars. My two complaints are 1. The lume fades way too fast. And 2, as fed mentioned with his tuna, being a bigger watch, it’s not the most comfortable. I’m pretty used to it and wear this thing daily, but every now and then I feel like it would be nice to wear a light field watch
I had several Hamilton’s for a long time because I didn’t want to spend 5k on a mark and I eventually pulled the trigger on the XX and it was totally worth it. I still love the Hamilton’s for the price but IWC for such a plain watch is an amazing buy.
I've recently began my obsession as a watch collector. And i must say- out of all the luxury brands I've been researching, for me the MAMACOO's watches are the most intriguing.
Dive watches were never intended for daily wear. They’re way too big for that. Especially true of Seiko divers which are typically much larger than divers from other brands
It's sad that watches that look good cost over 1k+. MAMACOO watches are REALLY well made, and it just shows how a brand name on a watch can make its price 10x higher. I understand that if you look under a microscope, you'll find the difference, but just how many of you really inspect a watch at that level when you see someone with a watch?
In Toronto canada I buy a super super clone I bring it to a rolex expert he say it was real rolex . Unbelievable. Your super clone look just like mine. You a expert but a regular person like me will never know. Imagine on amzwatch

This is why Fede is the real deal. $200 watch, $400 watch and $15,000 watch sit next to each other in his box and he waxes lyrical about them all.
SKX013 here at 38mm. Fits me well. Love it.
Any of those Seikos can be regulated by yourself with a light tap of the regulation lever. I have a 14 year old NH35 movement that is within a second a day, never been serviced. Was off 10 sec until that quick adjustment.
Recently got myself a Seiko SNE solar diver as vacation/beater/beach watch for 400 bucks and enjoy the hell out of it.

Owned SKX 009 and 013, great fun pieces. Own a G-Shock 5610. To me it's the best option given its features. Thanks Fed for the video. ⌚👍

The way you described the PRX is the way John Mayer described his Aquanaut.

My favorite thing about the SKX is the whole ecosystem of modders, aftermarket, and clones. It's not so much a model as it is a form factor.

Born in 1989? I graduated from High School in '89. Boy do I feel old! 😆😅🤣
I have 6 or 7 watches more expensive than my skx009, but is the one that makes me smile every time I wear it.
Agree with Fed Hamilton strap is superb
The 5610 😍
I like the watch I got from amzwatch. That rubber strap combo looks really cool! Been wearing it since last year and love every minute of it.
My favorites in the $300 to $700 range:
Citizen Tsuyosa
Bulova moon watch (43mm)
Hamilton Khaki Field
That Jorg Gray watch that Obama wore all the time, it was a chrono with the black dial with white stitching
As a guy who has NEVER spent $1000 or more on a watch, I get your joy. I have like 25 watches, from $20 to $700 to play with!
Great work Fed

@@rayhann8626I believe because it doesn’t have plastic parts like PRX does
Why do you have to throw your SKX in a shoe box when it quits running. Just swap out the movement.
You are the best watch reviewer on UA-cam 🎉thank you for your content and time 😊
I didn't expect this from you Fed. Maybe you are more of a regular guy than I thought. Nice presentation.
SKX007 first luxury watch buy for me. 190 dollars was a lot of money for me when I bought it. Still have it and love it.
7:21 The rare time you go to the gym.
The seiko automatics will run forever at worst you will be a few minutes late to an appointment

Got them all and agreed, Great pieces.
I've been wearing my 5610 daily this summer, it is so light and comfortable, looks great and is a fun "beater".
Fed is broke?

What, you were born in 89??? I would have never guessed you were a year younger than me. 😂

Own 3 out of 4 of those. Don’t have a Tissot PRX. Great picks 👌
Great fun!
Wow 😲, those comments ad nauseam with the red-and-white UA-cam arrows are annoying. Hopefully the UA-cam police 👮♀️ are looking at those.
all that matters is if you enjoy a watch....it is nice to have a patek-i like dresswatch- but i can see the funin a g shock....yeah man
4/4 (Sort of my PRX is the quartz version which is now on the leather strap) Even wearing my Hamilton Green Khaki Mechanical Officers watch as well today!
Very nice! My go to under 1000 is vintage though - best drama for the buck ratio.
When it comes to watches under 500$ ? HGP watches have my attention. It's awesome to have Brevet signed Monnin cases again and not a look alike like CWC and having Georges Monnin''s initials under the lugs is great detail
Hi l am from the UK l would like to purchase the Hamilton khaki mechanical any suggestions and what is the top price l should pay.
Nice to know that I'm in great company when favoring my less expensive watches.
Glycine combat sub Swiss made seleta sw 200 two tone vintage lovely case hugs the wrist 575 euros from glycine eu love it
2nd this! I have the 36mm. Amazing.
Certina also...
🔥
I don't think I've ever seen you wearing a watch on a Nato
Good observation
1989?
What's with your left hand, buddy
I have that SKX and green Hamilton Khaki and G-SHOCK Square for the gym!

Hamilton is KICK aZZ!
Fed was born in 1989? I always think he is 8-10 years older

Ooooooooooo. I. I. I Ooo o
I find an Apple Watch ideal for the gym - only place I wear it. Though I think it might set off the TSA security alarm which my gshock doesn’t.
The Hammy's used to be 230 dollars on Joma all day back when you started the channel lol
I put my Hamilton Khaki Field back on after watching this vid.
I've recently began my obsession as a watch collector. And i must say- out of all the luxury brands I've been researching, for me the MAMACOO's watches are the most intriguing.
Please don’t do that shaking up motion again😂
Guessed 3 of 4.
Anything Glycine.
1989 represent!
Typical problem with big seikos. It’s why I sold my Padi turtle. Bobbles around like crazy.
Dive watches were never intended for daily wear. They’re way too big for that. Especially true of Seiko divers which are typically much larger than divers from other brands
Own a Seiko tuna Marine master Ninja SBBN035 and it's extremely comfortable on the wrist
Meh choices here. So many excellent options that aren't overplayed like these.
Seiko???????????????? Really? How about A Timex, same thing!
I don’t get why someone makes a video about 5 great watches he owns but he doesn’t wear any of them for that specific video. Too incoherent.
I'm genuinely impressed with how close MAMACOO were able to replicate every aspect of this very very goofy looking classic watch.
amzwatch watch are the best, I say this from experience.
