Ok so when Hogan turned babyface.... I always thought they should’ve brought back Shawn Michaels during the NWO run as a DX member with HHH, start some heat between the NWO and DX. Maybe Vince would try to have the factions take each other out. Until they realize they were being played. Then that would make em all come together as the Kliq and denounce the individual factions so they can take on the WWE together. But keep it tight only Kevin Nash, X PAC, Scott Hall, HHH, and Michaels. It could’ve been branded as the brothers finally realizing that they needed each other and only each other. Oh what could’ve been 🤷🏽♂️
DX Can't Take Out The NWO. The NWO Would've Dominated, Destroyed & Taken Out DX. The WWE Narration On The Monday Night War DVD Comparing DX To The NWO Is Hilarious. The DX From March 30, 1998 Until After They Broke Up In 2000, Would've All Been Jobbers In WCW. X Pac & Road Dogg Would've Been Lowercarders. Triple H & Billy Gunn Would've Been A WCW U.S. Champions. In WCW, WCW Would've Had DX Feuding With Raven's Flock & The Natural Born Thrillers And DX Would've Lost.
It was kind of exciting at first but then the NWO members split up in late 2002 Kevin Nash went on to have a boring feud with triple H and eventually was released and went to TNA
I was just as excited as you seeing the nWo in the WWF Hogan leaving killed the run but obviously HULKAMANIA was too good to ignore. I think a new generation nWo group would be awesome with Hall and Nash as mentors.
Nash’s 1995 WWF Championship run, Ending Goldberg’s undefeated streak, finger poke of doom, tearing his quad that lead to the death of nWo, and ruining the Summer of Punk... is there anything Kevin Nash touches that doesn’t turn to ruin?
Regardless of if you think it was successful or not the build up to wrestlemania in 2002 was the most exciting time in wrestling history. You had raw main events of nwo vs stone cold and the rock.
I have to disagree with your opening. As soon as I heard nWo was coming...I KNEW Vince wouldn't let them get over Rock or Austin. That's how I knew the "Invasion" would fall.
while The Rock vs Hogan was an epic match, it should've been Austin, un4tun8ly Hogan couldn't get outta his ego & put over the Rattlesnake 4 whatever reason....I wonder if that was discussed on Austin's podcast
The NWO in the WWF/WWE probably would have worked better if they came in during the Invasion storyline. Then it could have been WWF vs WCW vs NWO!!! That might have worked better. Also it would have been cool if either Sting or Macho Man came in as the new leader of the NWO after Wrestlemania 18 when Hogan turned face and left the group.
I was still watching back then and always thought you could have had two huge turns the following night on Raw-have Rock come in and take over as leading the NWO giving the beat down to Hogan, thus giving Hogan a huge baby turn. Even though it kinda played out with Hogan being baby, but it would have been fun to see.
Michaels should never have been a part of nWo, looked more like a member of the French Resistance during WW2 with that beret in. It should have remained as just Hall and Nash after Hogan left then dropped altogether when Hall was released.
x pac, hbk and the big show should've joined the group earlier also eric bishoff should've managed the group as he did in wcw. Instead they hired him as gm of raw after the group was disbanded. scott hall issues kevin injuries and hogan reception wwe couldn't do about that.
Random comment but just to note, when Hogan returned to wwe in 02, he put over the rock, brock lesnar, Kurt angle, triple h and the undertaker, so for those that say he didn’t put over anyone...think again
In my opinion, timing was the single biggest reason for the success of the MNW particularly the outsiders initiating the challenge to WCW. If not for Hall's and Nash's contracts coming to an end with WWE/F; WCW wouldn't have been able to capitalize on talent and storyline, otherwise with the coming rise of Stone Cold, 3H, and Rock would have steamrolled WCW. In my opinion
What he should have done is get Scott Hall and Kevin Nash run into the ring with D-Generation X. And form the TRUE KLICK. that would have been epic. The NWO was already played out on WCW in what one or two years.
Instead of the nWo killing WWE, WWE poisoned the nWo.

Michaels should never have been a part of nWo, looked more like a member of the French Resistance during WW2 with that beret in. It should have remained as just Hall and Nash after Hogan left then dropped altogether when Hall was released.
Vince has injected a poison into the WWE, it's called the women's division.
Any chance you will do a Harley Race tribute vid on his history and influence in the wrestling business?
Top doco again
x pac, hbk and the big show should've joined the group earlier also eric bishoff should've managed the group as he did in wcw. Instead they hired him as gm of raw after the group was disbanded. scott hall issues kevin injuries and hogan reception wwe couldn't do about that.
I wish wrestling could be this good again.
Where abouts in belfast you from mate?
Xpac and Big Show are original members
Random comment but just to note, when Hogan returned to wwe in 02, he put over the rock, brock lesnar, Kurt angle, triple h and the undertaker, so for those that say he didn’t put over anyone...think again
rock vs hogan wrestlemania x8 soon maybe?
9:30 pretty sure you got the wrong photo, that's not Nash, it's Big Show....
hahahaha
What wasn't the same with big show joining nWo? in wcw he was the giant and was part of nWo there
The Rock is ‘The Flavor of the Month’.
Damn, that was a looooong month
Hall and Nash were never once referred to as The Outsiders by WWE personnel during this run
