    Dang it, I didn't talk about how to dry cars in winter lol. You can turn on the heater and close most of the doors (communicate with your customers is still key). Links to products in description!

      Careful to not close all doors/windows. Condensation will get into cluster board and spot the inside of it, learned the hard way. Happy Detailing!

      Be sure to turn on the AC while doing this - will take the condensation out while it’s drying out! AC on and heat on high

    commenting to show appreciation, these videos and the information/experience that comes with them are nothing short (if not better and more personalized) of absolute academia. i can only commend you a second time for how much pure meat we're getting in the youtube production sandwich on average.
    i don't own a business, but the value of pro experience has turned my entire cleaning regimen right side up. - i'm more efficient (product, time, fractions of what it used to take), everyone is struck and ask questions about where/who does my interior work. from which in turn has net me a profit on the side just from the inspiration that comes from your channel!
    keep up the amazing work man

      You should vacuum very thoroughly and use compressed air to get all the dust out, using a brush might also help). If stains are coming back it means you've not rinsed the seat well enough, you should continue extracting until the water is clean. Finally, a trick that only a few know: do a final rinse and extraction with a 10% citric acid and distilled water solution to completely remove surfactants

    Most Detailers is just use the floor heater of the vehicle and cracked the window of course. But what about these newer cars that are electric? Those ones are starting to confuse me. How do you dry electric cars or hybrids? I'm talking about using the power of the car not fans or other equipment?

    Assuming its a cold day, how long would the air mover have to be on the seat/carpet?

    • @DetailGroove
      @DetailGroove  Рік тому

      Yeah that's hard to say. When it's a cold day, we try to immediately put them on so it has the most time to dry. There's been a lot of times where they barely dry out. You have to talk to the customer and let them know before and after that that will happen

  • @YonatanAguilarL
    @YonatanAguilarL 2 місяці тому

    Those little Air movers you show here on the video will leave holes on the seat because of the 4 little stand legs it has. It's almost impossible to get the 4 holes from the seat after 30+ minutes of being there. I don't recommend them to use them on seats. Put them on the carpet instead and leave the vehicle on with High Heat for at least 1 hour.

    You all have dry heat in Texas too, that has to help out. Someone in Florida where it’s hot but humid it can be 93 degrees outside but the air outside be super wet and it could take forever to dry. Many people already have to leave little damp rid containers in their cars over night even if it doesn’t rain and without trying to clean seats or introduce moisture or steam. Somewhere like Seattle Washington where it’s always raining... oh boy. I bet that’s a tough one maybe even the Midwest states near the Great Lakes like Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin temperature is not the lead factor so much as weather as a whole

    No bud
    Your showing clean car
    What about heavy soilage
    Ford focus grey seats interior
    You do what your doing
    It will only dry out in patches
    And not alone are you wetting seats carpets mats
    You have to clean down all vinyl s with scalding hot water
    With multi purpose
    Put dehumidifier in overnight
    To collect all water.
    If not done damp smelling be in the car at later stages
    After.all the water doesn't go up to god.
    It the only way to remove all dampeness from car
    And in some cases on 7 seater
    Might take 24 hours
    End of story
