The Port City Spectacular is an old school indoor car show featuring traditionally styled hot rods and custom cars!
There were some truly amazing cars all under one roof for this show!
The show was held at the VanDyk Mortgage Convention Center in Muskegon, Michigan.
Hope you all enjoy the video!

New subscriber here...Great cinematics..very professional video...Thank you for sharing this with all of us who couldn't make it...-John
Wow, thanks! This comment really means a lot to me. I've been studying cinematography and videography a lot here on UA-cam, and this is one of the first times shooting something like this. Stay tuned for more, with some of my own projects mixed in!
@@Hard_Luck_Garage Super cool!! I will be starting my build of a 1928 Morgan/GN 3 wheeler with 4 wheels which will be a restomod version of the original with a BMW opposed twin and MG parts because we do not have GN's here in the states.here is the original Morgan/GN I am building the restomod of...ua-cam.com/video/W9QMa7AUD-4/v-deo.htmlsi=4iaIqa9qrYwkoIbB

Long live to Traditional Hot Rods, Customs and the people whom build them.. Greetings from Brazil!
I love that idea, thank you very much!
Every color in the rainbow
I went to the show Saturday after getting home from SEMA the night before. I was in car show overload but it was a really cool show and had a great vibe. Saw some friends and hit the Rad Dad's taco shop next door for lunch in the arena while a hockey game was going and a fight broke out at the end of the game. Hot Rods, Hockey and Tacos made for a pretty nice little Saturday in Muskegon. Really great video.
Thanks for coming down after a long week! And thanks for the kind words!
Got any more information on the two Hudsons? The one with flake flames looks like an early 50's hornet or wasp. But what I'd really like to know more about is the 30's big black one on airbags with pointed oval headlights, it is awesome. Thanks for the coverage
Yes, I got you!
The car with flames is a ‘51 Hudson wasp with a 327 under the hood. Sounds wicked through those lakes pipes! @kodidawg on Instagram if you want to follow him.
The black car I believe is a ‘38 Hudson Victoria coupe. Total garage built car, unreal. I talked to him for a while at the show. He chopped it, moved the roof forward, rebuilt the quarter windows, widened the rear fenders several inches, guy even did his own interior! It’s on air ride with LS power and has all the creature comforts. He was talking about selling it to get into something else! @taildragginhudson on IG
I looked this one up. It's called "the phoenix"
Incredible
❤
is there a date for next years show and a host hotel coming from st louis
I’m not sure yet on a date next year, you can follow @port_city_spectacular on Instagram for details as they come down the line. This year the attached delta by Marriott hotel was the official host hotel.
My home town Muskegon Mi.
🏍️🏍️🏍️👍🏼
Those are authentic American Hot Rods ,I Would have loved to have been there 🇺🇸 #Aztec73
It was quite the roof to be under!
@@Hard_Luck_Garage I'll bet it was, It must have been a blast , It would have been fun to not only look at the cars but talk to the owners to see how they built them
Stick around here, I’m hoping to cover some of these cars and their stories over the next year
@Hard_Luck_Garage I will, I really like that kind of stuff.
@Aztec73 see the yard art roadster video I did a couple weeks ago!

Who shot the outside vidio I love how it looks like it was taped in the 60s or early 70s vintage look
Thanks! I shot all the video you see here. I took some time color grading the entire video to give it that old look and feel. Glad you appreciate it!
Bit more advertising and I think more people would have been here. I live four blocks away and never even knew.
I think we can chalk that up to a first year issue. The show was a success, so keep an eye out for next year’s! Hoping that the content produced from this initial show will help promote the next one.
@ I hope so. And I hope I hear of the next one.
Amazing video!
Thanks!
