Gdy robił fatalny obrót nad lasem powiedziałem do żony - on chyba spada. Wielka szkoda.

Urban myth, if the aircraft has departed controlled flight, then it’s impossible for the pilot to steer the aircraft away from anything. If he could steer it away from a built up area, he could keep it in the air.

It was caused by pilot error. It is believed that the crash was caused by a pilot error who flown the aircraft too low and too slow. 2 seconds before the crash they were asked to eject by ground control but pilots decided not to eject and steer the Flanker away from the residential houses possibly saving a number of lives of the people on the ground for which they were awarded “For Personal courage” order posthumously.

Reading some of the comments below, there was no failure in engine or anything of that sort. This was complete pilot error and he should've ejected not to mention what he was thinking performing a Split-S that far away from the tarmac and spectators and not only that, but at such a low altitude which tells me only one thing - this guy deviated from the flight plan and was trying to do way too much and paid dearly for that. He started out with 3 loops right at take-off for crying out loud you rarely see that and I've been to A LOT of airshows. Split-S needs to be done at a minimum or 6,000 feet to allow for recovery and even them it's suspected to be too low and that umber varies with different aircraft of course. With one like this that has TVC the ceiling is probably lower but that guy was way too low and should've known better. Clearly adlibbing and varied from the flight plan. Too bad because before that he was putting on a hell of a show with a hell of a bird!

Jolinator Hey, listen, as a matter of fact I do know FACT like you mentioned but I know fact regarding AMERICAN protocol for flight demonstrations and they have a routine they go through IN ORDER and they stick to it and they have what is called "The Deck" where they never go under it unless they're making straight and fast passes and it has to be DIRECTLY over the runway etc. I don't know what they let them do in Belarus or whatever this is but I'm guessing it's a lot more influenced by Soviet or Russian ways which are much more loosey goosey and they let them perform all these gyrations at low altitude which should NEVER happen because there isn't enough time like you or the other person said to restart the engine or eject. Nothing gets done under 10,000 ft (don't hold me to that exact number) but it's a safe altitude and you're watched by your superiors during your routine so when you go to your briefing after, they tell you "nice job but you should've had more power in this instance or turned sooner in that instance etc." This guy was doing a split-S over the tree line for crying out loud!

This is the way I see it. Those tight maneuvers are not meant to be made with high-speed jet aircraft, as the jet engine compressor does not like the intake flowlines to be disrupted. With that long nose just above the intake, it is clear that as long as that long nose keeps steady with the aircraft the right way up, it is well and good for steady-state inflow, but when flying inverted with a higher angle of attack, which it did a few seconds before the crash, and seconds later with pulling up too tight swing that long nose up, and bunting and sideslipping, or go from idle to high power too quickly then that compressor can stall,
Looking at 5:10 the craft is dropping with engines at idle, then at 5:15 while the craft is pulling up tightly blanketing the intakes and disturbing airflow, he then pushes quickly on the throttle shown by the smoke(carburizing flame), and then at 5:16 he pulls up, loses power and stalls both the engine compressor and the wings and so he mushed down in a pancake. The compressors in jet engines are very sensitive to the relative velocity at which the incoming air meets the first compressor fixed-pitch blades. The raked-back wings are forgiving but one must not overdo it by being too optimistic slowing down a fast plane. Those who sailboats would know about the apparent velocity into a sail and if one does not trim accordingly, one will stall the sail and will never win a race or the America Cup!!!!!.
    ua-cam.com/video/yyN8kaghCvU/v-deo.html
In many young pilots, emotions trump their logic and reason and rational thinking, and this is the philosophy and psychology of attracting people to flying, drug a pilot with dreams of grandeur, put a conspicuous uniform on him, and some social pomp, tell him that he is responsible for his passengers, when in fact he is only responsible for saving his own life, pay him more than $240,000 for the risk and not his responsibility and then pay a cleaner $10,000 to clean the pitot-static tube and where both the cleaner and the pilot would forget to take the protective tape off the pitot-static tube, which in reality did occur, proving that the cleaner of pitot-static tubes and the pilot have the same level of responsibilities, but one pays the pilot $ 230,000 extra for living close to death, with the continuously risk he takes, and to select the pilot with an IQ low enough, to blind him of the truth he faces, as they did to the Kamikaze pilots or with putting medals on their dead chest. All pilots are born with a congenital disorder with respect to the life they love to live, this means that they need to wear and wrap around them a complex mathematical/engineered/computational prosthetic aid, and they are no more than children unfortunately born without limbs or who had amputations and they had to be wrapped up and fitted with prosthetic aids, including ejector seats and parachutes to look after them, but if pilots are stupid enough all this engineered prosthetic aid is all in vain.
The following video is a representation of two happy pilots side by side in a cockpit aided by engineers tuning their prosthetic aids for them to learn and train themselves to just operate and walk and fly solo. Note the aid of complex engineering prosthetics which they need to look after and maintain in good order. If possible they should understand and not only OPERATE after being affected by a controlled, socially drugged human emotional attitude, and occasionally show off in air displays rather than conduct the real missions for which they are blinded and trained to follow. Such issues of misuse of flying prosthetic aids include Arthur Bud Holland of B-52 fame and Douglas Bader and many others. Engineers prefer to design and build prosthetic aids for those who really need them and not those who want to misuse them. One would say that the intelligence and effort and logic and reason and rational thinking that is required by a pilot to learn and operate an aircraft, is 1% of the total effort that goes into designing and building it. The emotional levels are the reversal of that! The rest is tacit psychology to fit the right person in the required post!!! Life is a subtle game and social propaganda and the media show the benefits and hide the consequences of the ugly games we all play.

@@Liger._King Sir, Thank you. At 4:54, while flying inverted, so the " angle of attack for a reversed aerofoil section needs to be higher, while the engines on the " top surface lost the normal lift relative to the proper lifting surface, That long nose is partially blanketing the intake and it is seen that the sharp edges "mustaches ' above the first pilot are disturbing the air with forming that white trail effects which are vortices all going into the intake. Those sharp mustaches by the fuselage on the leading edges shown at 2:40 are beneficial when that aircraft is flying normally without that long nose wavering/oscillating in front of the engine intakes, but when flying inverted or in a sharp right turn and pull up those mustaches are absolutely detrimental to the airflow Thanks again for appreciating my thoughts and conclusions about a pilot in a high-speed aircraft doing such stupidities. Both engineering and pilots have their limitations but the stupidities of an emotional pilot usually win over the limitations of engineering design and in fact over 75% of aircraft incidents are due to pilot error, 5% due to traffic controllers, 5% due to engineering failures, and 15% due to unpredictable weather including flying ducks and birds as in the Snowbirds incident.
With the incident involving the Canadian Display team Snowbirds, the death of Captain Casey, after the aircraft had a bird strike which caused the loss of power, the pilot misinterpreted his instructions of using what extra kinetic energy he had to gain altitude and leave enough flying speed. What the pilot did, he used all the Kinetic energy in the aircraft and changed it all to Potential Energy and altitude without leaving enough flying speed and so he stalled.
ua-cam.com/video/Q_y4eAj-smc/v-deo.html Again I feel that pilots, operating and showing off in air displays is totally not necessary and the emotions and social pomp of a pilot who learns to operate the stick without knowing the real physics and engineering, do die as they did in WW2 when the youngest pilots did not know much about differential equations and their solutions! There are mathematical/engineering operators that all pilots should know about. These are integrals, derivatives, delays, and their combinations. Let us take only one function out of the combinations of, pitch, yaw, roll, throttle, flaps, brakes, flare, undercarriage, reverse thrust, etc control in an aircraft and model it mathematically using the function F(t) as a function of time, note only one variable is assumed to say pitch control.
Associated with the F( t) there are the higher-order rate of changes of the function F(t), as d(F)/dt ( rate of change of position, velocity,) d2(F)/dt2 ( second rate of change of position, acceleration), d3(F)/ dt3 ( rate of change of acceleration ( amount of stick change), d4(F)/d4t ( rate of change of the stick location, which is close to the mind thought), d5(F)/d5t ( which could be regarded as the sound of the bird strike in the Snowbirds incident.) d6(F)/dt6 (which could be the integral of what happened before the bird strike including take-off and back to the conception of the pilot by his parents...................... ) Yes, the action of the pilot before ejection was a very long integral and a weighted addition of all the previous internal and external states prior to their demise. It is important to comprehend that the final state of the aircraft depends on the present and past inner state of the pilot, the inner state of the aircraft, and the outer conditions of the surrounding external states.
In WW2, the difference between an Ace pilot who was good at predicting where to shoot in an oblique moving target with respect to his own movement was all a case of a pilot, intuitively knowing his integrals, derivates, and delay operators, of which there are many, even for the simple control of one function, as Pitch Control, where, to make it easier, the average control engineer is taught how to use only PID control, which is ( present) Position, Integrals, Derivatives BUT THERE ARE MANY MORE HIGHER DERIVATIVES AND INTEGRALS TO CONSIDER if one needs to correct the errors between what is to be achieved and what is in fact achieved in any aspect of life. It is hard to believe but associated with each of the pitch control, roll, yaw, throttle, undercarriage, etc, a good engineer would associate about six operators of higher derivatives and integrals with the delays TO EACH CONTROL, WHICH HE HANDLES. The working space of an average pilot is about 1% of the working mental space and processing power of an engineer/ mathematician. We shall not talk about the other social-oriented emotional professions, who never produce a tangible product nor ever guarantee any of their services! While the mind has its own inertia of rest so does the human body and emotional pilots tend to forget about the mathematical processes that may save their lives.
Those pilots who do not understand the higher mathematical operators and their engineering physical interpretations are all at a disadvantage, and that is the reason why 75% of aircraft incidents are due to pilot error. and the same goes for mistakes by sea captains and their collisions and other errors seen so often on UA-cam. Well, Pilots and Sea Captains and Admirals, Army Generals, Winged personnel, and military boys and girls as Kara S. Hultgreen, need to be blinded and unfocused on some aspects, to follow what they love to do!!!! The rules of nature dictate that while we are all entitled to have equal opportunities, by nature there will NEVER BE AN EQUAL OUTCOME between men and men women and women and men and women!
I would say that every video on UA-cam concerning all Air, Land, and Sea incidents should be supplemented by a mathematical model analysis of what the actions of a pilot or a sea captain or a car, bus, train driver, boxer, wrestler, judo, Kung Fu or any Olympic game, or " Britain Got Talent" and other human social behavior including how religion and politics behaved! as in the following video ua-cam.com/video/BnM5FWkPDwo/v-deo.html

This airshow maneuvers program wasn't new and the pilots knew very well when to bring the plane back to horizontal flight during that last rightward slow roll. There are 2 possibilities:
    1. Pilot error as they were probably both focused at the cockpit's instruments for a moment before bringing the stick to neutral and stop the roll just to make sure that they're at the right altitude and speed, but didn't notice that the plane wasn't yet upright and it was still upside down before pulling (as the roll rate was abnormally sluggish for what they were used to). After initially pulling wrong towards the earth, all the could do from there on was to continue pulling to correct the dive, which they did, but sadly when they have managed to recover the plane's descend almost at the height of the trees tops, the left wing stalled badly and the plane rolled and yawed to the left without leaving them anymore time to eject. Sadly, just at the limit of making it out..., they died!:(
    2. Hydraulic failure over the aileron controls. This may be more plausible and links to the fact that the plane was rolling much slower than normally. Compared to other videos of the same airshow maneuvers program, the rolls should be much quicker than that.

all the power in the world will not compensate for lack of air speed. air speed makes lift, and even enormous power requires some time to generate that air speed. the plane obviously is quite capable, and the pilot expert, but it is very dangerous to fly low and slow, especially in maneuvers. said to see.

Bullshit. That is the most common ridiculous garbage made up by spectators and reporters who have zero evidence of the pilot’s intentions and are instead projecting their own desires. Many interviews with pilots who have near disasters reveal that the pilots are focused solely on recovering the aircraft and have no awareness of things on the ground that needed to be avoided in a crash. Many pilots laugh about the ridiculousness of a pilot worrying about things on the ground when they’re busy trying to not crash.

Looks like the afterburner stopped functioning, the pilot could have been hopeing for a fast restart of the afterburner and wasn't paying attention to the tree line, only focusing on his instruments and trouble shooting the restart failure.Altitude wise he thought he was good as his alt-meter would show enough height to fly
