  • After meeting more and more people during Profiling Sessions and even just in everyday engagements, I have become even more aware of this nuance that is not often seen when it comes to understanding the distinctions and even overlaps between extroverts and introverts.

This video is so helpful. I was typed enfp or esfp - in the end both “coaches” typed me esfp. I wanted to break down stereotypes and made an instagram and people did not think I was an extrovert or Se dom. There is a lot people with socionics backgrounds at instagram and it seems like there is a big difference between Se in mbti and socionics. So now I am doubting a lot - I am also an enneagram 6, which I am sure of - because I am always doubting myself😅 I am still confused about Ne and Se - The stereotypes are just annoying when it comes to those two functions. Anyway I think I am cognitive extrovert but “traditionally” an introvert since I also recharge alone🌱

It's even more complex. We have many layers that make us, that make our functioning (Our 8 functions, enneatype, instinctual variants, objective personality, human design, neurological conditions if we have, numerology)
Carl Jung said "Introverts can be mistaken for their extroverted counterpart when they engage their 2nd function"
I find Ni super draining for my part : constantly tired, it never stop to update, to connect data, to generate ideas, plus I am very neurodivergent.
It's enough easy for me to recognize the psychological type of people, I have the 16 patterns of people in my Ni.
    We embody our function stack.

Hey Denzel, another great video you did. I always say that introvert and extrovert have so many nuances from person to person. Glad you did an entire video on the subject.
My ENFJ/ENFP friends are exactly like that, they can be very social and love engaging with people but also need some alone time to recharge.
On the other hand, I have some INFP friends who love engaging so much that they recharge with people and don't need that much alone time. This is so interesting to observe.
As an INTJ, my social battery is so low and I take so much time to recharge alone after meeting people that I basically created a system for myself so I can function well. I basically work fully remote and have the minimum interaction at work so I'm able to have more social battery with people I really appreciate. Since doing that, I noticed a big improvement.
I need less time to recharge alone compared to before because I removed the most annoying interactions and then I'm extremely picky on who I talk to and who are my friends. In the end, I choose people who makes my energy depletes very slowly when I meet them so even after after we're done, I'm not drained because it's quality time to me.

Yeah exactly!!! There are so many different kinds of extroverts and introverts even within the same type! So fascinating to observe! I love also how you have set up your life to be at an advantage for your energy. I think that’s the smartest thing to do as well. I do it myself and even with things like texts I have made it so that I can always give myself time to respond when needed and I have time and energy for it.

3:21 The second shadow function being called the "witch" is too good 🤣 I'm always so intrigued by the 8 function idea, I guess because it makes everything more delightfully complicated!
4:04 The chart made me want to ask, do you think everyone is a genius in heart and potential?
You in the bathroom was too funny to imagine

Haha I like that too! The archetypes are so fascinating.
And oh for sure. I think it’s all about tapping into that when we tap more and more into our individual selves.
😂 I seek silence and solitude several times a day. But people would never know

@@DeezyRYG In what way is Ne a "witch" for you? (Because for me, Ne is a friendly bunny)
Ni is my witch because it complains about how everyone else is wrong, but finding an alternative I think is satisfactory is difficult

Great question! For me I would say Ne is a witch in the way that I can get so irritated when several options and ideas that could lead to many different parallel universes almost show up haha. I also use it sometimes in a very jokester fashion.

I'm extroverted, but I was voted quietest in my high school class. Today, I might just be the most, or among the most, social person from the class.

Do you think after introverts are left alone for many hours gathering information, introverts may do this thing called "info dumping" on a person? I do that sometimes, then by the end, my battery is drained until I find more knowledge on a subject.
Also, could this be the next thing we should study is 'attachment style' just in case we can figure out if they're introverts or extroverts and why they don't act on those attributes despite their dominant functions.
Anyway, I love your videos. You deserve more viewers.

I do think that’s a lot of what happens!!! I feel many introverts hoard so much to say and then when they finally get the chance to talk, they can just spill it all AND lack social cues to be able to check in more or like handle any pauses in conversation. Not all introverts of course, but many.
And thanks 🥲 I appreciate you having supported and keeping up with my thoughts for so many years. 🙏🏾

    • @DeezyRYG
      @DeezyRYG  Місяць тому +3

@@EmeraldEclipsed There is a potential there, but I feel like it could also be cause I am always so extra tapped into the social interactions PLUS managing them whether openly or under the radar. And that takes energy. Even if just one on one, I’m keeping the discussion going to an extent and everything lubricated, paying mind to provide “highway exits” in case the person wants to exit the convo, etc.
