Ginger Pooley was with the band for a few years, but never on the albums. I would have loved to have heard her work in the studio. I'm obsessing over the Smashing Pumpkins albums and I didn't appreciate the more recent albums.
Jimmy on the drums makes or breaks this band for me. I have seen them a dozen times....with and without Chamberlain on drums...and while they put on decent shows without him....when he is back behind Billy......they have so much more power...it is night and day!!
Jimmy makes everyone else have to play louder and step their game up. i remember waiting in line to see a show in 2007 and Jimmy came out and sound checked. sounded like a thunderstorm was rolling in was so fucking badass
I quite liked the young dude who played around Oceania release- he had his own angle on the way Chamberlain delivers, irish sounding second name, the drummer- think he’s known for another Band

I love this band, but I remember when Zeitgeist came out having a mate in tears laughing because I said it sounded like it was recorded in a dustbin 🤭 The mix here is insanely good!
Well Superchrist certainly made it far (becoming a single) for the repetitive thing it is. Otherwise, so much Zietgeist->If All Goes Wrong era greatness
Probably because some of the songs are basically just a vehicle for Jimmy to show off and Billy to riff, when your guitar tone is that mean its tempting. I do like them though and think thats the way is a top tier song

It’s pretty darn good. Live, they often did little improv metal jams which i always loved

The actual songs on Zeitgeist are pretty strong, I feel. The poor mixing and production is what made the album lackluster.
