Great tip about the Lurex Ruan. My skin is quite sensitive so the heads up to make a simple adjustment is appreciated. Got my box today so then I could watch your unboxing. Andrea just keeps making her business better and better. Love that she's shipping overseas on the front end so we don't have to wait so long to join in the fun. xx

Even though I've opened my box, I love watching your unboxings Ruan and you're always so super excited. I love how to zoom in on the detail of the goodies! I don't have the pattern, but as you were saying it, I think a Marnie would look nice. I also have the Fringe dress pattern but haven't made it up and it would look lovely in that too. Lots of options! I do love the top you're wearing. Thanks for sharing 😻💚
What lovely fabric! There’s an iron-on backing from Floriani called Dreamweave that you can cut into strips/shapes and iron on to the back of fabric so that it doesn’t chafe. It was designed for use with Embroidery designs that have been stitched on to shirts and you apply Dreamweave to the back side of the embroidery design after you’ve stitched it out. Great for baby onsies (called baby grow’s in the UK!). My first thought was a Fringe dress as well!

Oh yes! So excited. Love everything in the box 😍. I love green. It’s totally my color and I have a lot of it. I thought fringe dress too when I first saw it. Don’t know or maybe the Lyra which would be pretty too. I should be getting my box Monday and I can’t wait. Love your new room. Everything takes time so enjoy the process. Thank you for sharing! Oh my goodness Ruan I have been holding off until today to watch your video as I hadn’t received my box yet. I’m not subscribed but managed to nab one of the boxes that was left from Andrea. The fabric looks wonderful on you and thank you so so soooo much for all the lovely mentions and also for passing on the tips about the lurex and a pair of tweezers! A Fringe would look fabulous in it, I’m toying with a Davenport. Happy sewing lovely one 😘

I opened mine while I was watching you open yours Ruan. I stopped the video just before you revealed what was inside opened mine then turned you back on. It was like opening the box with someone else but still get the frisson of surprise.

Love the shirt you have on. I love the new fabric. I had seen it on her instagram post as one of her 3 new makes , same pattern made with 3 different fabrics. The green was my favorite but I couldn’t find it in her shop.

It’s gorgeous fabric isn’t Ruan. Love the colour of the walls in your new sewing room. It’s the colour I want lol. I was picking up colour chart samples in b and q the other day. Other half said “um why are you picking up paint charts?” Panic in his voice. He hates decorating, it’s happening though😂
