- The skate park is named after Matt Hughes who lost his life in a skateboarding accident in 1998. The park was recently rebuilt last year with funds from the city, the community members and also some help from the Tony Hawk Foundation. It is located at 33rd Ave N, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.

I remember shredding this on a family vacation back in the day... There was a high school behind the park that had a low handrail.
Never knew their was a skatepark at the beach...even though im almost ,40 still might go push around there next time lol
in the 80's we'd skate drained putt putt golf ponds, much better option there

@@alvarezjorge517 i have z e r o idea what it is like now, it was trashed with graff a couple years ago from what i remember, could have been a small amount of time but idfk anymore. I dont skate there or anywhere near there anymore.
