Prof Dr Javed Iqbal is a surgeon with special interest in laparoscopic and cancer surgery. His professional qualifications are FCPS, FRCS, FACS, FICLS, MCPS-HPE.
He is one of the pioneers of laparoscopic surgery in the region. He has trained more than 50 surgeons formally as their supervisor and thousands more who have worked with him in various capacities during his four decades long professional journey. He is an official mentor of Royal College of Glasgow and International Course Director of American College of Surgeons for Advance Trauma Life Support (ATLS). He is a well known medical educationist and has been a part of College of Physicians and Surgeons, University of Health Sciences and Nishter Medical University as faculty of medical education.He is on the reviewers panal of various index medical journals. He has more than twenty five research publications on his credit along with a book on surgery entitled "The Operative Surgery"He is a published poet, short story writer, critic and broadcaster. His current areas of effort are teaching and training of soft skill at various national and international fora. He is very active on social media and his team runs a very well subscribed youtube channel covering versatile topics& interests. He is regularly being invited on national & international TV shows for his intellectual contribution. He is an influential speaker. Millions of people are getting benefit from his videos on medical education, FCPS training, parenting, relationships, human wellbeing and various other social issues.
Govt of Punjab has recently assigned him the role of member, Punjab Health Policy Board.

I believe alongwith teaching children how to behave and conduct themselves, we should also teach parents how to treat their children. Parents should get weekly classes (one hour a week, minimum) on how to deal with children & their dilemmas.

sir, not only kids we youngsters also don't how to consume digital content, we are also consuming unfiltered data and wasting our time. as a young Adult , we 20 to 30 years old people think that we know how use internet but reality is opposite. youngsters have developed bad behaviors, morality is decreased, health and time is being wasted. please upload a video for adults too, because there is very thin layer between (what we think as entertainment) and adult content. we people think that we have control over ourselves but in reality back in the head our behavior has been negatively impacted

Being an early years teacher and into teaching and learning in Pakistan but now in the UK, I can truely tell people:how unfortunate and misguided our sojciety in regards to personal development, self love, how such things can develop problems such as body dysmenorrhoea and emotional issues along with physical because of intense mental distress. Pakistani sojciety is faaaaar behind in teaching and especially educating parents about, helping kids to identify their own body names correctly and without any hesitation. Here in the UK we teach kids early on body parts and stranger danger concept, we also incorporate the concept of pants which is a way of teaching about how their body is only theirs and that no one is allowed to touch or talk about it, we educate kids about consent and of being expressive in general. I can truely say that, when I was in Pakistan and now here in the UK as especially an early years teacher I feel sooo sorry for the kids in Pakistan. Afcourse even for parents too. I wish if I ever come to Pakistan would love to sit with Sir and shhot a vlog on this topic. Apart from it keeping kids off the screens and incorporating more physical and interactive action daily basis, so many ideas can really make a difference. Regards sir. 🙏🏼
