Bailey Comb Change Part 2 - What a Lucky Beekeeper I am!

In our latest Maisemore Apiaries sponsored series of videos I revisit the bailey comb change colony where in part one we left off having moved the queen into the upper brood box and separated them with a queen excluder.
Today we opened them up and got quite a pleasant surprise as you will see!
Maisemore Apiaries have supplied me with equipment to stock an apiary with 12 x poly commercial hives complete with frame and foundation. They also sent along two supers for each hive complete with foundation and frames, a twin hive stand and two commercial poly nucs. The hives come complete with Miller style feeders and straps to hold everything in one place.
Over the coming weeks of the beekeeping season I will record how we get on with these hives and show everything that happens “Warts “n” All”!
