You actually gave it that, 'extra mile' in doing the surfing in Belfast Harbour, the excellent sub aqua at Carric a Rede, the bog snorkelling, the music session, the coasteering (that was quite a jump! ), even the grub. Well done. I have watched a lot of Northern Irish videos and yours was definitely a cut above the rest. Very well filmed and edited and fortunately not like my wee amateur efforts. This was a treat to watch and in my opinion a lot better than most of the stuff produced by our tourist board. Keep 'er lit!
I am an o flaherty. Family comes from Galway . I don't know what my grandparents were thinking when they immigrated to loydmnister Saskatchewan Canada . It's very cold here today minus 30 . They should have went to new yolk city like most of them. Not many Irish here so it is so isolating. Wish I was there.

So much for the warm fuzzy welcoming Irish (and my whole family is of Irish descent) . Just got back from a trip to Belfast and I never once experienced "Irish Hospitality" or made to feel welcome in the majority of places my family visited. Got nothing but uncomfortable stares and almost no conversation. So much so that when my 3 year old daughter started singing to herself we were asked to keep her quiet, this was in a pub full of other families. Went there with the intent to explore my family heritage.Don't think I'll ever return.
