    I was blessed with the opportunity to actually play with totem at lost lands. Its controlled by a ps4 controller and I was able to play the festival like a video game!

    Looks rad, folks, does it have a slower speed and slower fading in and out rate setting for lights? Like, can I make it more "mellow", too? Can it be made more blue, or red, as suits one?

    You could make this from a bunch of 2 way glass and LED strips with some programming for the lightshow right? I'd imagine the programming is the bit that would take ages.

      Unfortunately mirror foil cannot achieve a clean result, we use a chemical process to apply a reflective coating directly the to surface of our mirrors.

    Awsome project! I also made a project with leds using geometry earlier this year, but it's a shadow projector, not an infinity mirror. I was planing on making one of these but I haven't decided yet, the math involved is kinda putting me off, I wanna go for a icosahedron or rhombic triacontahedron.

      @@dansv9778 I'm not sure abouth the math involved in a dodecahedron but you can find video tutorials to make the structure.
      Jay, I bought them from china but if you're in the US they are pretty easy to find, just search for "addressable rgb led strip", you'll need a controller like arduino to program the leds.

      Yes, this video was taken of our original 2018 festival totem after it had been to a few festivals, so the mirrors were a bit warped by then! Our pieces for sale use glass mirrors, so there is no warping :)

    Hey, can you tell me (if you wouldn't mind) what LED strips you use for this perrrrrlease? That white star-sparkle just perfects this Dodecahedron display.... so I need to build one as I've been coerced into doing it by my wife v2.0 and Children v1.0 and v1.1 Not sure what MCU I need though.

      The panels are infinity mirrors. Keep your eye on a LED area on a part of the skeleton. when a LED is triggered you will see the other flashes are reflections.
