naw, it’s a cash grab. chaos makes an implementation for almost event 3d app now but chaos only cares about max so support will be bad and it will lag behind even sketchup.
Looks promising, if they manage to find a solution to quick materials import. I love Octane render but had to switch to cycles cos Octane material setup is time consuming
Beta trial is free, i'm running it now on blender without any subscription or card info just like in the video, the official release most likely be paid
Hello sir great video as always. I got one question for you regarding vray and cycles , do you think vray is way better than cycles? Btw i start blender watching your tutorials and now im a professional Arcviz artist thanks to you my friend .
In Archviz Vray and Corona render engines are top league comparing to cycles, so yes it's better in many ways, but still hard to learn compare to how easy cycles is.
it’s not free, it’s the most expensive rendering option by far. Non max users eventually realize that they are paying for the Max build. Chaos isn’t what it once was
All nice and good, but if I wish paid tools, I would have kept using Lightwave. The huge advantage of Blender is the democratization of 3D-CGI free of charge. If somehow it becomes impossible or very difficult to get professional results in Blender without using paid tools, then Blender will lose any interest. For instance, is far easier and fast to get excellent results in Lightwave than in Blender and I won't even go into the modeling process... in Blender it is mainly a short-cuts nightmare to get anything done with tools that are spread all around the UI in very weird places. I got into Blender because of EEVEE and because it is open-source and free, else, I wouldn't have submitted my self to the weirdness and the strangeness logic behind Blender's workflow. Lot of redundancies with not much practical use. Anyway... thanks for sharing!
After trying V-Ray for Blender Beta, I can say that I really like it. However, I must mention that I encountered several bugs. For example, it still cannot render as an image sequence or video, and some V-Ray nodes seem to not work at one hundred percent. When the full version is released, it will definitely be worth trying, as long as the subscription price isn't too expensive 👍✨️
it’s the most expensive by far. updates and bug fixes will be slow or non exams bc Max is the priority. you are basically paying for chaos to develop max, vantage and a bunch of stuff you won’t need or use. I know, my studio uses vray for cinema and max and the cinema build has crippling problems
@@MrMadvillan I'm familiar with that situation. Before switching to Blender for professional work, I had experience with 3ds Max and V-Ray. The cost was truly shocking. Beyond the software itself, you need a high-end computer with a powerful graphics card that consumes massive amounts of power. When facing tight deadlines requiring quick renders, you also have to pay for Chaos Cloud. Blender and Cycles have really helped me reduce these expenses significantly.
I LOVE BLENDED BEING OPEN TO EVERYTHING
Me too mate!
Why V-Ray? I used it but it run so slow on CPU.
Cycles are free and support GPU and I like Cycles more.
Coming with full thrust
💀
lol
Let’s goooo test it😎
Studios are switching to blender, therefore vray is making effort for them.
Yep true. They want do business

Let´s go. Great update I love it.
Great have fun!

How much will it cost out of beta? I hope it’s not a subscription

I cannot find Vray in my add on tab even though I already installed it. Someone help please
You should change the rendering engine to it for it to appear.
it should be in the add-ons' list once you install it on your desk. And make sure you're on blender 4.2
If you already in 4.2, don't search type "vray", instead try "v-ray".
So which one is better? cycle or vray
Honestly i dont like vray and everything about 3dsmax and autodesk
I think Vray is better but will take more time to master
me too, I don't like V-Ray and Autodesk
@@kaizu4914 😁😁same
does not work on 4.3. this is a huge drawback
is it free or not after beta version
Beta is free for now, once release it will probably be paid like any other vray version
of course it won’t be free, $84 for the monthly 😂
This look so cool!
it's a new meta in blender and hope it stick cause v-ray is dope.
The ultimate christmas present for any Blender users
Right! 3D Santa dropping sweets this year

@@MrMadvillan perhaps, but at least it gives an introduction to V-Ray

i have nothing to say just *"lol"* ...
hate these AI voices
comparing to Cycles is this engine giving faster rendering and better result
I don't now how fast it will be on blender but Vray is way ahead of cycles in realism.
Vray is kinda slow tbh but it is better for realism
wtf is up with this AI narration lol and damn this channel su c k dk.
dope? so corny.
🙃
that garbo woke joke about white being privileged was super cringe
Just when i thought this was a good channel...

you're super cringe!!

I had some issues with gpu render too but i think they will fix that in the official version. I just wish they make a bridge to read blender shaders.

ffffffffucccck the pc version ! I'm a Mac user !
They most likely will drop versions for all operations once it's official
