Nice vehicle nexon I really like it's cabin is more spacious than brezza and built material is also good .

I really liked the honesty with how the review is done. Secondly the review doesn't have fancy cuts and lots of music and which is why it's a clear cut review about the car's capabilities etc. Good review guys. Sometime we don't need 'cars got talent' to know what's what.

The AC chills!? Just what I want in my car. In India, an AC that chills is a must. Rest all the cars are almost the same. So, I'm going to consider this car.

Nothing against this review but this car feels and is more powerful than brezza even though it is 100+ kg heavier due to a stronger build.
This car deserves a test drive to make up your mind as most of the online reviewers are deliberately downplaying this car due to tata brand.
Shobhit Saxena yes brezza doesn't even stand near by it.
Abhijit Mandal i meant only heavier due to better build.
It is powerful due to its engines.
Kindly read carefully to find 'even though' which doesn't mean ' because'

I really love the center console and the whole interior
The Tata Nexon has finally been tested by Global NCAP. The Made-in-India SUV has performed pretty well in the crash tests and has received a decent 4-star rating for adult occupant protection and a 3-star rating for child occupant protection. The body shell of the Nexon has been rated as ‘stable’.
Now it's 5 star rating car
Very nice review. Not into the techei-tech details, which most of us don't want to know. But rightly mentioning the stuff, that matters to a daily commuter and and occasional weekender. Really appreciate. Thanks.

Nice review... In terms of safety nexon scored the max whereas swift 2018 scored 2. What about tiago rating? Whether it is better than swift? Opinion needed only for diesel variant

Very good review. How is the visibility from the rear window. I feel due to over-styling the visibility is severely low. In case of a person going for lower variants that dont have a rear view cam it might be a deal-breaker.

As you mentioned in video about the boot space and comparing it with EcoSport. Let me correct Boot space is 2 litre less than Ford Ecosport. Nexon has boot Space of 350 Litre while Ecosport has 352 Litre.

Hello Motoroids, Could you please elaborate the reason why the tow hook cover cap on the front bumper was taken off in your video? Possibly because the Nexon got stuck somewhere and you had to use another car to pull it out. Not very suitable for off-roading then, or is it?
We didn't do anything with the hook cover. It was just that way. We didn't even have a back up car, that's why no tracking shots, only panning. It's a good soft roader
I want to purchase a petrol car, which one do you suggest--nexon, wrv or EcoSport.i have test driven both wrv and nexon and liked the nexon more, what do you suggest.i have also heard ki Tata nexon is more safer than wrv as its build quality is better

In other reviews: Gear knob comes off, central locking goes on n off continously, side view mirror opens fully wide ie not to set angle, clutch problem.

Engine is not that much good means In petrol variant , 1.2L 3 cylinder turbo charger doesn't give sufficient power when you run above 120 kmph. At that time you will feel.
Diesel engine is quite good but have only 10 year of RC life with 180K expensive.
Other features of this car are awesome

Hello Sir ... Is it mandatory to have a heavy running if you want a diesel car .... Otherwise in case of moderate running the diesel engine would not be worthy at all ... Kindly throw some light on it ..

Abhishek Sharma it boils down to the cost. If you don't have heavy usage, the car doesn't pay for the extra money you spend on the diesel variant

1-Since the present car that i have(maruti alto 2009 model) does hardly travel 500 kms a month so mileage is not a very big deal.
2-The car should be safe to drive with all safety features.
3-Want a bold car that gives you a dominant feel whenever you sit in it.
4-The car gives a comfortable ride quality even travelling on journeys of 400kms+.
5-My family is of 5 so want all of them to be comfortably seated. Also always wanted a big car whenever sitting in an alto(2009 model,present car i own) and seeing a safari or a scorpio. Nexon can make that thing come true.
6-Also want a car that forces everyone to look at it once !!! :-p

Wait of Ford Ecosport 2017 with 1.5L petrol engine(123 BHP) and automatic gearbox. It will be much better than Duster CVT petrol.

With too many powerful motor's coming up daily on Indian roads ,I feel we are deteriorating our nature by travel in and around the country just because we have seen some one doing it with gadgets and other stuff and rest 1000 folks follow the same and spoil the serenity of a place.Let's be responsible enough, not do the same and spoil our mother nature.These are the smallest things which we can do to conserve our Nature Mother who's allowing all of us to BREATHE,DRINK,SURVIVE in the planet.Let's be responsible.Lets be one to Save our Planet.

I'm planning to buy one &very very confused between the Eco sport or nexon,,

The EcoSport is a more rounded off package in terms of driving dynamics. It has been around for longer between the two. If you can spend the extra money, go with the Ford.
Sir how much mileage this car petrol could return me when I cruize at 80-100kmph in highways in eco mode with four people and some luggage.thank u

meet bains both are different segments. The Dzire is a good family car too, but the Nexon is more versatile

I really liked Nexon. But do it has any of below listed problems as it has I other Tata cars.
1. electric and wiring failure.fuse goes just like that.
2. Lot of Battery down issue.
3. AC was not so good.
4.Some times doors gets jammed.
5. Head lights were not as powerful as needed.
6. Sometimes lights work fine and some time not.
7.self Starter/Ignition issues.
8. Engine Heating issue.
9.Services are worst still?
Did any of the Nexon owners notice any of this issues.
Please please respond as I would consider your advice as you are owner of an Nexon car.

adarsh adhi... It might b there on some initial dispatched cars... Not the second r third batch.. Within that all the issues would be sorted out... Take a td.. U ll surely like it.
adarsh adhi regarding the issue door jammed let me clear you this is not a problem i used several tata vehicles like safari nexon the problem is when the car is lock and you pull the lock lever the lock pop out it seems it is unlock but it's not so basically it is not a problem the thing is when you unlock you car manually or with button then this problem doesn't arises it only arises when you pull the lock lever in car lock condition but when you open it manually or with button then you realise it is not a problem
