- "Shattered Glass" was written by Bob Mitchell and Steve Coe and originally recorded in 1980 by Scottish singer Ellie Warren. The song was re-recorded in 1987 by American singer Laura Branigan with the Stock Aitken Waterman production team and served as the lead single from Branigan's fifth studio album, "Touch" (1987). Based on the mixes by Pete Hammond, here's my "Running Hot" megamix of "Shattered Glass"...

This should've been a huge hit.
Surprised this wasn't a bigger pop hit
HI NICK, fantastic version of this song of the great laura branigan. thanks for the fans of SAW.........
i could dance to this for hours thank you so much
Excellent work on this track Nick! I don’t recall this song but, it’s phenomenal! It’s too bad that she passed away suddenly!
Have you edited songs by Steps?. I thinhk they are now the only ones that continue in their songs with the music spirit of SAW's and ABBA's songs mixed. I would like to listen to your edit of "After the love has gone" , "One for sorrow", or "Heartbreak in this city", for example.
Love this - thanks for the remix!
A great song, Nick. Nice job.
This is an Aitken, Stock and Waterman production. Year 1987. Mixmaster Pete Hammond. That's the one and only PWL sound, coming straight from THE HIT FACTORY.
Such a way to wake up my Sunday morning.
Greetings, Nick.... 🍷🍷🍷🍷
Thanks, Mario!
@@nickj-blastmusicedits my honor, Nick.
By the way.... have you thought about Tell me when by THE HUMAN LEAGE? I suggest you an '' If only I could see you edit ''.
Have a nice weekend, cheers....
I will check out your suggestion...
Excelente música excelente cantante
Great work❤ You've upscaled this song & it loses nothing from the original❤ I have the Ellie Waren & Laura versions on vinyl & used to flip between copies depending on which mood i was in. Great memories❤
Probably not very known in Spain, this SAW production is a fantastic song, the one by Laura B. that I like more, but you have done Magic with it, you get that 11 minutes of song are short and people like me want more, althought we always could put it on repeat.
One of her best!!! Extended as it should be, love 💕 it ❤❤🎉
One of the few songs to feature tubular bells (which I played in university percussion!). The only other one I can think of off the top of my head is I Want Your Love by CHIC. My only complaint about SAW is that the synth sound is now so dated and artificial. I wish they had recorded symphonic versions, especially the Donna Summer album. Laura's "Gloria" and Irene Cara's "What A Feeling" suffer the same.
Love it!!!
Another of my favourite songs from 1987, Great Job Nick
Thanks, Ant!
More Laura Branigan! Love your mixes!!
you ll neve be forgotten and RIP Laura!
Who love this song? Who used to launched to the dance floor when this song started to play? Meee !!! Gloriosos 80 vividos en Buenos Aires...
Thank you for this remix! I absolutely love this song and mix from 1987! Great dance song!
Thank you, Manny!
Super Nic!😀🤗🙏👏
💓super Laura Branigan
!! ONE OF MY FAVE LB SONGS !! thanks for 11+ mins of pure joy !!
Greetings from Germany! ❤️😍❤️
Yet another song I had never heard before - but which you've kindly, and expertly, brought to your fans' attention. So I'm listening to the instrumentation - of which you give us a heaping helping, thanks to your extended intro and break - trying to figure out what it reminded me of. Then, eureka, it came to me: Sandra's "Everlasting Love"! This is another fab mix, Nick - thank you again!
Thanks so much, Julian!
Epic stuff Nick 👍
😍😍😍
Great mix my friend, she was an incredible Vocalist, a powerhouse up there with the best ,I Remember when she was mistaken for Donna Summer ☀️
Thanks. Another top mix.
