Love Drakes but their prices are absurdly high- I think the better play is to use their clothing and lookbooks as inspo and find cheaper alternatives.
Ami Ieon dore. Quality is out of this world.
Keep 'em coming! Really enjoy your content
Cheers mate! More to come 👊🏻
The logo on the hat is a guy playing a trumpet. More specifically I think it might be a Miles Davis silhouette
Thank you! That really stumped me 😂
I like ALD style and lookbook a ton for inspiration, but their prices are absurb for all import clothing from China. Personally, I cant justify $400 sweater with a made in china tag on it. You have to be choosy but you can find similar quality items at J crew, levis, and other american brands with a MIC tag for 1/4 of the price.
I know you're London based, but do you have any favorite Made in America brands?
Love the vibe of this collection, any suggestions of similar brands more within the budget of a uni student 😅
Depending on the items you’re looking for I’d try Uniqlo for the fleece outdoorsy stuff and Madewell do some nice suits atm
Sad that the prices are out of this world...whole collection is fire.
Menswear is definitely one area where you pay for quality. Pre-owned pieces can be a real investment.
@@mexicanroadsweeper I have no issue paying for quality, but you can't be serious if you think that the prices of some of these prices are reasonable. I get it, brand value, shoot the prices up.
@@mexicanroadsweeper Not all their pieces are high quality, some are well made, but not high quality. You can easily find pieces that are made with 100% polyester and were made in China. Their pieces are all well constructed and durable, but it is manufactured oversea and charging such high prices with pieces that were made with cheap fabrics, that's just gouging. Ofc ALD has some really high quality pieces and i would love to buy em if i could one day afford them lol. But as fire as the aesthetic of the brand is, don't let it fool you.
Dressing well is statement of intent that separates you from the pack. If done correctly it delivers far more return for your money than most men realise.
ALD has a strong sense of aesthetics but the fact that the majority of their pieces are made in china is a disappointment. The same can be said for Todd Snyder as well. I still love both brands but if I'm expected to pay such high prices the label better not say made in China. Cheers, really enjoy the content.
I don’t think that’s true? A fair amount of their stuff is italy
Are you referring to ALD or TS?
A lot of TS items will say Italian fabric but they are still manufactured in china. I’m not saying all but the majority is.
