- I was invited by @9ine11 to check out his epic Porsche 993 GT2- worth approximately $2 million now, one of just 57 built. However this guy doesn't believe in garage queens, and regularly drives this car hard and fast, as you can see in the video where we go drifting. Powered by an incredible 444 hp flat six engine, this car is widely regarded as one of the most iconic air-cooled Porsches ever built.

It has been statistically proven that such drivers and people with such cars are less prone to accidents than people driving slowly and driving slow cars! Fast driving and fast cars require more attention, (see German highway). Exactly people like you are dangerous, who have no special abilities at all and lose control in emergency situations! Check out the Road Rage videos 99% are normal drivers or people with slow cars! Fact! Statistically, accidents with strong cars happen much less than weak ones! so stfu

If you want to know why we have average speed cameras everywhere and 20mph limits in towns, it's dicks like this.
Find an empty A or B road, don't drive like that in urban areas.

ms But he IS right. Driving like this on this kind of roads is not enjoyable for the other drivers you share the road with nor is in fact enjoyable for the car, and wouldnt be enjoyable for the driver either, if he would have a piece of mind.
On an isolated road in the forest, which I am sure there are plenty around, everything would be more suited: the driving, the sounds and no witnesess except for driver and the recorder.
This is no way, no matter how cool the car, or his driving is.

2M$ car, and the registration plates are expired since February the 7th, 2015.
Prob well kept in garage since then.
Those were the German plates before it was imported. You dont need an up to date registration on imported tags for historical reasons
@@Neophobic Sorry, what? Those are the plates given when you unsuscribe the vehicle from the country register, in order to take it to another country to name on the person who does not lives on the origin country of the vehicle. I do not understand what you meant.
@@Tudestube you can register imported plates and use them on your car like regular plates and dont need an up to date registration displayed on the tags because its imported & should fall under show & display laws. Itd ruin the purpose in having the original tags. This is how it works in Maryland, USA. Not sure where you are or where they are but that how it work here.

Here in Spain, as in almost all countries of Europe, someone for example from USA or France cannot register a car in UK, Spain, Germany or Italy unless this person does have a legal residence in the new country. Imagine I, as spaniard, get a car in germany; once the import plates expire, this car cannot drive anymore on public roads, one of the reasons is that the green card attached to the registration plate also expired, and this green card is the only official document which effectively demonstrate that a car belong to someone, because this car has been erased from the origin country's database, and the car does not exist on any database on any european country. The green card also attaches a legal road insurance (mandatory civil liability) which also expires on the same date than green card and registration plates. Once green card expires, you have a limited period of time in order to register the car in new country (normally 6 months to 1 year). Once a year passed from green card expiration (same date than registration plates), the green card is also expired as a legal document (so it is not valid anymore in order to demonstrate the ownership of the vehicle), and as the car was erased from origin coutry database, this car now belongs to the limbo; it cannot be registered on any european country anymore. From that moment, only the private purchase agreement document demonstrates the ownership of the car, but no oficial document demonstrate so, nor any database in any county, so, in resume, the owner is kinda fucked up.-

Si es un 996 GT2 rondan un millon y medio de euros, se fabricaron muy pocos y se cotizan mucho.
Lo que no se es diferenciar si es real, puede ser un 993 con el kit del GT2, estos rondan 150.000€ o asi.

Sadly not worthy of that sticker if the car is not in Japan. You'll have to join the strict team to get that sticker of approval for this 993, it would've been awesome if one of the members had this. One of them also had a rare wolf Countach, Mid Night Club really is a club full of gentleman racers

Not so sure it’s the real deal ... never seen a GT ( GT2 ) with headlight high pressure washer ...( wich was standard in turbo and not an option in the GT even with the Konfort package ) also you can spot inside in the center console the bottom consol with sunroof switch and rear wiper switch ... even if it was sunroof delete and rear window was changed with RS one

Mav Flight probably a turbo with a conversion. Probably all original GT2s are stored away in climate controlled garages with maybe one or two 2-3rd gear pulls every year

@@allensaunders449 at about 6mins there's a 19 plate Kia driving towards the camera.
Even if it were valid, this German license plate would not be valid outside Germany. He says it's an export license plate but that's not correct. Export number plate has a red color and not orange, the Organe are only for use within Germany.
@@jese6621 Not correct at all. Only difference between red and yellow badge in provisional registration german plates is the duration of the validness of the plates. Yellow badge is common for 2 or 3 days up to 15 days. Red badge is for provisional plates which can be used for more than 15 days.
EDIT: And it's not only for use within germany.

Thank you for posting! That is my dream car!!! My 996 turbo is fast and handles well, but I wish it were a 993.
But why? The 996 on up has a better look with their more aero l, laid back windshield. When i saw those i didnt really want 993 anymore.
I jus bought a 996 Cabriolet that needs and engine, eng n trans reinstalled and minor other pieces after that.

I had a few 944 turbos aka 951. I got tired of working on them. I had a 964 and a 996, but not a 993. I like the less refined 993 turbo. The 996 turbo is fast and handles well, but the 993 is just sexy.

100% do not mind if they crash it. they're having fun, they're using a car like it's supposed to be used, not leaving it in a garage to be left for years

The air cooled Porsche’s are very much in demand, therefore commanding a high price, this being an early GT2 makes it even more valuable.
