That’s not really running drill pipe there hand, that’s called a connection, not impressed. Running pipe in that low gear would get the driller run off where I come from. I’m sure the guy on the floor loves it when the hand in the tree slams the drill pipe into the elevators! I can’t wait til one bounces back out at you. That’ll learn you to not let the pipe go til you got one hand on the horns. Just because nothing bad happened here doesn’t mean it won’t, I’ve seen that happen and have had it happen to me up there. Stay professional at all times up there.
I learned a lot working with those guys on that drilling floor. That was where the wireline company called dialog many many years ago. They taught me how to stay alive on that Floor.

Theres literally fresh paint on the derrick as theres paint on the pins for the derrick.. gettin after it for sure

This looks like Irak, if you are drilling for ROO, like I was with WDI Rig 841, you run the rig on High High and you are working "unsafe"...🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
