I would suggest the below places in manali (Solang valley, Haddimba temple, Manikkaran, Kullu valley), if you plan for 6 days you cover kufri, jaku temple, Mall road in shimla.

Nanga January la ponom sister. There was no corona symptoms in India during Jan. From chennai cab la shimla poradhu will take long duration for travel. i don't normally suggest that.
