Nice to see videos of other people like myself, who don't want kids, but like to hang out with siblings children once in a while. Also proves wrong the myth that not wanting kids means hating kids. You did great there with those little ones! ❤
You and Luke are just straight up good people! Uncle Luke and Aunt Liz! Pretty awesome! They had a great time.
What an amazing adventure for Chloe and Jason. Super Aunt and Uncle!
Chloe and Jason are the cutest things and some fine campers.
I was grinning throughout this whole video.
You and Luke are quite the finest Aunt and Uncle. Be ready for some more trips I reckon because I saw the shear joy in Jason’s and Chloe’s faces.
Such a pleasure to watch! Thanks for sharing.
Love this! I too am the "cool aunt". I don't have kids of my own, but love taking my sisters & friends kids out to do fun stuff outdoors. We go shooting, fishing, camping, 4wheeling, horseback riding....all the fun stuff I wish adults had done with me when I was a kid. Good job, aunt Liz! ❤
Congrats!! Not only on surviving but, creating core memories as well. 💚
Pretty fantastic first time overnighting with the kids, I'd say. It looked like a great time was had by all.
Seems like Chloe and Jason did really well - slept through the night! I’m looking forward to their graduation hike on the AT or some such other suitable trail.
Best gift you can give them is this time in nature! So fortunate to live in beautiful NH, I am so glad I raised my kids here :)
Loved this! I have a nephew arriving in December and cant wait until he’s old enough for my husband and I to introduce him to hiking and backpacking!
This one had me smiling big from start to finish! What great fun!!! How sweet is it that you can walk out your door and be on a lakeside trail in the woods??
Chloe def has been watching your vids...too cute! The boys fishing took me back to family fishing trips when my kids were young. Good times...great memories.
You and Luke were so well prepared, had plenty of the most important necessity camping with kids...patience! 💯 Those marshmallows looked incredible!
Way to go Aunty Liz and Uncle Luke! And "no one went to the ER" 😂
You must definitely did more than alright, and Cartwheel is most certainly a qualified hiker imho. Great fishing, good times.🔥
Cutest camping crew ever!
What cool aunt and uncles! Kids are awesome!
Super cute aunty and uncle 🥰 you both did amazing
Great aunt and uncle memories for ever
Definitely the cool aunt and uncle!
Handstand and Cartwheel 🤗
They both obviously ADORE you guys - and that just proves how cool you both are :) (We knew.)
Awesome Aunt and Uncle. Such cute kids. I know they'll definitely want to do that all over again. They seemed to have had a wonderful time. Great job!! I really loved seeing this other side of you two!! ♥️
I love this video. That was so much fun to watch. How special!! I think we have a future UA-camr in "cartwheel" lol, that was so cute! Thanks for sharing this. ❤
You guys created amazing memories that will not soon be forgotten. Congratulations!
Precious video! Best Aunt and Uncle ever! I smiled the entire time watching this!
She's got a trail name already. They're adorable and you are the cool aunt.
What a great video. I bet the kids tell all their friends about the super cool aunt n uncle they have.
I love this❣First, because you showed a Kubota tractor. I had one like that and I miss it. Then there is the Quad. Brings back some great memories. Thank you. Next, it is nice you were willing to teach your niece and nephew your wilderness skills. You’re great at child care. Especially, explaining the need to wear bright colors in the woods. Bravo. Cheers to the wonderful family time. Be well. Be safe. Wishing you peace and good fortune. Happy Trails!
Awesome video! The Next Generation of thru-hikers! 🏞
I loved this video. You could see the excitement and wonder in your niece and nephew’s eyes. You all did great with them!!!!
This was the cutest video! Great job! You are definitely the “cool” aunt.
Okay this vid wins! 💛💛
Too Cute! They will always remember this.
Omg how freaking cute!
What a nice video. You guys are great with kids. Chloe and Jason are superstars! Thanks for sharing this Liz. I'm looking forward to you next adventure.
Oh man, Luke slipped that sword fight comment in there!! LOL!! I love this video. It's really cool of you to do this and give those kiddos a little adventure. These are the little(really big) things missing in the lives of so many children. As a dad of a girl and a boy about two years apart, and an elementary school teacher, I know how crazy littles can be. But, those crazy times become great memories. And, you wet the appetite of a budding UA-camr as well! All-in-all a fantastic experience!! You did good!!!
This is adorable...also cute idea for the grands❤
I'm two minutes in and can't stop smiling.. this is the cutest thing!
Same here!
This was awesome! Great memories made.
Awesome experience for them. And obviously, the greatest video ever!
Gooood afternoon from central Florida! Hope everyone has a great afternoon! Thanks for sharing the video!
So fun, Liz. You and Luke are such good at being aunt and uncle, and the kids were so cute!
I started an AT thruhike April 1st, and got 1,075 miles in before a slip in the mud sent me home with a torn meniscus in my left knee. I got a cortisone shot and am doing better, but, at 70, with the MRI showing a lot of arthritis and wear, I might be making my next attempt in 2025 SOBO with a new knee.
Now, I have some pain and have to keep the walks light, without a pack.
Life goes on and is rarely boring unless it comes from within.
I hope to hike another 25 AT miles sometime before the snow piles up so I can say that I hiked half of the Trail, officially.
Take care and thanks for the videos. 💪👊✌️
Tinker
That was adorable! Thanks for sharing 😊
That looked like loads of fun I'm super jelly!
Loved this video. So much fun
Chloe & Jason are absolutely adorable! You & Luke did an awesome job! This is going to be a wonderful memory for those kids. Chloe is definitely a rockhound. Good to see Miss Piggy joining you. Hugs & love always!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Now that was a fun and interesting video. Loved it. Yall did good in spit of your fears lol. Keep teaching them and yourself, maybe go on a real hike one day.
So fun!
Happy Holidays Liz Luke and Miss Piggy. Ihope everyone is healthy. Imiss your videos .Peace
You guys did such an amazing job!!!!!
Delightful adventure 💙
This was great! 💙
The most adorable video ever!! ❤
Camping in the back yard is an excellent way to start kids. Nice tractor Luke. Nice video. Watch the movie "Adventures in Baby Sitting". Good Luck, Rick
Such a cute video ❤
I am really glad everybody survived. Still surprised Liz and her friends made it unharmed through the berry environment of the AT. Why do you think only 20 % arrive in Maine and why are bears able to feast during hiking season? The AT is like Kaitenzushi for bears, tourons are baiting bears right into the shelters.
Nice. That was good. Thanks
what lucky kids to have you 2 as aunt and uncle! what did chloe end up collecting in her fanny pack and bag? i'm sure it's a serious collection.
Yep! Reminded me of my daughter so much when she was that age. She was a "collector" big time! So sweet...
Very nice.
Three months after this video and there's been nothing! I have a sinking feeling in my gut as to why we haven't seen any new videos! 🙏
@2:50....Everyone notice how clean Liz and Lukes how is?? If you Reeeaally wanna watch destruction....Next time do the 'camp' Inside the house and take pix afterwards....🤣🤣🤣....Being a Dad, i'll Never make that mistake again, haha
Guess it’s a little late to start the AT this year with them. Get some practice in
So are we down to one video every few months??
Dreaded the click bait thumbnail but the vid was awesome! Good chemistry.
Seat belt?
Not only did y’all survive, you thrived! 💪🏆💥👏 Too bad you don’t want kids because, like anything you put your heart & mind to Liz, you’d knock it out of the park! You & Luke are naturals. Praying for a “happy accident”🙏😁❤️
Hiking and camping out of your backyard doesn’t count… lol. But could work to your advantage if the kids start crying for mommy… lol
It totally DOES count. This was an adventure for them. Stop being all…like that. Hike your own hike.
These kids are excited to be outside. You want them on Everest? 100 mile wilderness?
🙄🙄🙄
You definitely need two of those little ones. 24/7, 365 days a year, for 18 years. Times two. (Why does this not sound very convincing?)
