- Hey babesss! I have a natural hair tutorial for y'all this weeeek that I'm so excited to share with you: a flexi rod set! This is a style I've always wanted to be able to do and have it last for longer than 2 minutes lmaoo, and I finally figured it out! Great tutorial, I’m going to try this style again. I need to work on my technique. I tried this style a couple of weeks ago after only watching your short and gave up. I ended up just doing a flat twist out.

Thank you! It lasts a really long time tbh, this one lasted for 6 days and it still looked superrr defined but my scalp really needed a wash lol. I can do a nighttime maintenance video on here! There will be one up on how I maintain my hair during the week on my tiktok in a couple of days if you want to see a video sooner 😊

Do you notice your hair being more tangly on wash day after a flexi rod set. I did one and it was 💣. It was smooth and shiny but I was looking up videos and many said their hair was tangly. I couldn’t understand why and hoped for the best. On wash day, my hair was so darn tangly. I never get this with wash and gos 💯 I also get this with twist outs. It’s like my hair don’t like nothing my natural hair texture.

Great video, I have a question am now on 4th month transitioning. After hair wash LOC method my flexi rods gets heavy down. Will definitely try with a mouse but my question is can I still use a spray leave I'm conditioner + little oil once hair us air dried then use the mousse...
I wouldn’t recommend using an oil before a styler - most hair products are water based, and since water and oil don’t mix your hair products won’t absorb into your hair well if you apply an oil first - if you really want to use oil use it as your last step 😊 I also don’t think a leave-in is necessary to get good results, it will also cause your hair to take longer to dry, but if you want to use it just apply it before the mousse & oil!

What is the lip combo you have on at the end?
I used 40 rods total, and the lip combo is rare beauty matte lip liner in strong and charlotte tilbury lipstick in pillow talk!

How do you sleep at night so it doesn’t mess up
Help ladies.... after my hair wash....I applied the leave in conditioner then allowed my hair to airdry.....then I went applied the shea moisture curl mousse for the flexi rods. As I am now transitioning the relaxed hair dried freezer immediately. Has this happened to anyone..i really want to get it right....kindly share if I did anything wrong pls
How are yours looser mine ends up being a super tight spiral
Try using wider/longer flexi rods so you have room to wrap your hair along the length of the rod with more space so the spiral isn’t as tight

The cringe of lingo (and correction is not hating)…it’s to inform and make aware. We licensed graduates knows the terminology is “shampoo”and not “washed”… you wash clothes not hair(it’s the first instructors rule is to know the language of Cosmetology/Trichology … kudos to your method…
