I saw her sing in a trouser role in Houston in a Rossini opera. Must have been in the late 70's. Her voice made every seat vibrate to the beauty of her sound. This is just great.

I bought this album in vinyl back when it came out in the '80s. Loved it then & now. Simply beautiful.
Wat een heerlijk lied en natuurlijk weer heel mooi gezongen door Marilyn Horne. Een klasse zangeres was dat. Simpel de beste.

Welll, she makes such a meal out of it. Its a simple song but for me in this version that simplicity was lost...
