    Adding salt before the liver is fully cooked will make it bitter. Only add the salt after you transferred everything to the food processor

    A+++ for the production value! NO MUSIC! (Well, except for at the end.) I've got some calf or beef liver in my freezer. I'm going to make this next week.

    This looks like a very healthful recipe but ruined, as I usually see in most recipes with "vegetable oil" which is seed oils that are very bad for health. Replace it with beef fat, duck fat or lard or clarified butter to cook the liver. It will also taste better.

    I AGREE that SALT must be only added at the VERY END of cooking of liver, because otherwise it will harden it. Someone told me about this and I tried it once and it was best liver I ever did!

      I wonder if sauteing in salted butter has the same effect? I'm gonna go grab some unsalted just in case. Glad I found out about the salt thing before starting.

    i think you were going for an intimate audio experience but honestly it turned out pretty dang intrusive 😂 sounded like a scene from a Saw movie. But anyways, awesome recipe!

      If you seal it with butter and air-tight container, you can store it in the fridge for up to 5-7 days

    Is this an American brand of liver?! Are we supposed to get grass fed? Or organic? Being that the liver filter out all the junk? If we got CAFO liver that might be kind of gross. No?

    • @chronic_daydreamer
      @chronic_daydreamer Рік тому +1

      Yes. Go grass fed or grass fed and organic. There will be less industrial chemicals in the liver that way.
