  • Vengeance! Retribution! A desire to repay those who do wrong to us is part of our fallen state. But Paul commands us not to avenge ourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God. Our job is to overcome evil with good.

    Hating others for being hated by others was the vicious cycle that kept me addicted to Heroin, fentanyl, and alcohol while I was perishing on the streets thinking I'm all alone and forgotten. A dead man walking. But God, being rich in mercy, forgave me and made me alive again. I bow my knee to the One and only God and Lord Jesus Christ. 👑

      I'm just about to watch this. Ever since a certain political party demonized half the population, I've struggled with it almost daily.

    I was just fired for political gain, and I discovered my one sister I've yet known about but yet tried to love her and forgive her for her bad ways against us. I became so angry and so hurt, yes I felt vengeful and beyond.. it takes so much ti get me this mad. But Pastor Baucham truly spoke the Word of the Almighty and it reached me. May God forgive me for my anger and may HE heal me from thus anger and pain.

    Thank you so much for sharing. I needed to hear this sermon. God knows what has happened. I'm not tripping out over it but that desire does rise up and now I know what to do about it. This is Truth. I see it.

      So, shall we then continue in sin that grace may abound? Paul replies with a resounding “God forbid” (Romans 6:2). To desire to continue in sin shows a misunderstanding of this abundant grace and a contempt for Jesus' sacrifice. Either we believe what God says is true or we don't.

    What about "christian" leadership spiritual abuse? Specifically being excommunicated for bearing a permanence view on marriage? How do we deal with false teachers in light of this message?

    • @gfbc1689
      @gfbc1689  Рік тому +1

      Trust God and speak truth. Not personal vengeance. And excommunication isn't a topic that can be properly handled within the UA-cam comments section.

    Dr. Beauchamp, I have been following you for over a year. I've listened to many of your messages and have been enlighten and encouraged by them. However, I strongly disagree with the comment that God is more in line with certain political parties. God works on an individual basis and does not lean towards the beliefs of any party! It doesn't matter what a person professes with his mouth, God looks at the heart!

    I struggle to not be angered when I see others, or myself, mistreated in some way. Is it wrong to feel satisfied when others are appropriately punished for their actions, or is gloating also a sin?

    • @MonarchAZ
      @MonarchAZ Рік тому +1

      Yes, it is wrong to gloat. You will risk becoming like them.

    • @daekwonrose3160

      The Bible tells us to love good and hate evil. In the Bible people have always rejoiced at good.

    • @daekwonrose3160
      @daekwonrose3160 Рік тому +2

      So feeling satisfied with Good isn’t wrong. You can’t “gloat” about good and in turn become sinful… that’s not how it works. We literally gloat everyday of how Good and righteous and Holy God is.
