    Nice job man. Lots of fun stuff to play in at that park. I enjoy flying there. More fun with smaller whoops but i could see still going for powerloops of the swing set with yours.

    What’s the flight time with the 1550? With that weight, what percentage is your throttle for hovering? I have a 1300 and sits at around 25-35% throttle for hovering.

    • @smithe68
      @smithe68  4 місяці тому

      I can’t remember to be honest and the 1550 I had took some damage so I had to drain it completely and dispose of. I have some 1200 6S and I could see where I’m at for hovering after work today if you want a comparison but I suspect that would be very similar. The only other bigger batteries I have are some 3000 but they are li-ion.

    • @StasFPV
      @StasFPV 4 місяці тому

      @@smithe68 so it didn’t really feel heavy with the 1550? I might get some higher mah batteries for longer flight times as long as they don’t make the drone feel too heavy.

    • @smithe68
      @smithe68  4 місяці тому

      @@StasFPV I don’t think so really. It handled the power loop with the bigger battery on it without ever getting to full throttle. Do you fly with a GoPro on yours? I one time flew this with the 1550 a mile away with some altitude gain and it handled it surprisingly well. I think you will be fine unless you are doing some crazy freestyle with it.

    Hi Erik, what RX are you using here? I ordered one with the TBS Nano RX, paired with my DJI Goggles Integra and DJI Remote Controller 2, but the squad never armed, and from Betaflight>Receiver tab the controller was not recognized. I troubleshoot this issue for about 3 days with GEPRC and I returned it. Also, what controller are you using? Thank you!

    • @smithe68
      @smithe68  5 місяців тому +1

      Hello. The TBS Nano RX does not work with the DJI Remote Controller 2, it works with the TBS Tango 2, or a Crossfire Module. You could have changed the rx in the receiver tab to SBUS and used the Remote Controller 2, I’m surprised GEPRC did not do that. I use ELRS for my receivers and either use the Radiomaster Pocket ELRS model or Jumper T20 ELRS model.

      @@smithe68 Hi Erik, I use a Flywoo Explorer LR with the TBS Nano RX and is working well using the DJI Controller 2, that is why I ordered the Cinelog 35 v2 with the same TBS Nano RX. GEPRC support did mention to enable UART2 Serial RX, but nothing happened. I even went further to erase the firmware, reinstall 4.4.2. I tried also 4.5 and never worked. I spent a lot of time and research but never succeded. I ordered another unit, maybe the one I got was deffective, but through that research and troubleshoot I learned more about the whole Betaflight interface. I will research those Pocket ELRS model or Jumper T20 ELRS model. Thank you again for taking the time to respond.

      @@YonnBurgos If you still didnt find out you need to enable Serial RX on UART2, then under the Receiver Tab select SBUS where it says CRSF. Click save, turn everything off and unplug the quad from betaflight. Then in this order, turn on the quad, press the bind button on the O3, turn on the DJI remote and long press the power button for bind mode, then the same with the goggles. Now the inputs should be detected by betaflight in the receiver tab. But you need to configure the buttons under the Modes tab to set which button arms the quad etc. If you get the BADRX warning, the arm switch is activated. Reply if you need more help

      @@alignvfx Thanks for replying my comment. I spent too much time troubleshooting and finding a solution, so I swap it for another unit with crossfire protocol. I like this unit a lot!

    Been watching a lot of videos on this quad and by far u got the smoothest and slowest control like a GPS drone lol niceee flying brother!
    Did u change any rates or expo? Kicking around this drone vs the cinebot 30 vs 25 V2.. I like the idea sub 250. However lately my average wind 4-25 mph gusts and don’t have a clue how to take this into factor on what drone

    • @smithe68
      @smithe68  11 місяців тому

      Thank you very much for saying, I really appreciate it!
      I left everything stock from GEPRC to see how it flew and found it to be so good, at least for me, so I have left it completely alone. I think it really depends on what you want it to do but it sure handles winds well and can do a lot. I even did a mile out sort of long range flight with it along a cliff! I have the Cinebot30 as well, only have a few flights with it though, I scored a lightly used analog one and threw a caddx vista in it. I can’t give you a real comparison but in car speak, the Cinebot30 reminds me of a quick and nimble sports car and the Cinelog35 is more of a high end performance sedan. Don’t know if that helps at all?

    man this is loud. is there any quad with similar capabilities, just quieter?

    • @smithe68
      @smithe68  Рік тому

      It is quite loud, it is fairly large and powerful. Too be honest I am not sure there is another similar quad with prop protectors that is any quieter. I’ve only flown a few in this class and they are all very loud. Heck even my CineLog20 makes a fair amount of noise, although not as much as the CL35. If you didn’t need prop protectors but wanted plenty of power, you could go with something like the AOS 3.5 with DJI O3, it is much quieter and definitely more nimble.

      @@lolmetyuriI have the goggles 2 and I think the fov is great for FPV goggles. It’s not like a vr headset of 150+ degrees of fov but it’s like a movie theater. No light breakthrough but I made my own foam for it as the original was fine but put my face too far away from the lens. The corners were not in focus until I made my own foam and got closer the lenses. No problems now.
